Bol Bachchan has taken bumper opening at the Box Office and registered an opening weekend of 38.5 crore nett all India. But what comes as most surprising that from around Monday noon onwards many distributors reported escalated box office figures. Exact reason is unknown, but it is now certain that Bol Bachchan is also victim of Box Office Manipulations.
Many recent big films survived this threat and the last film that’s box office figures are over reported was Ra.One. It is highly impossible and controversial right now to say who might have tried to over report Bol Bachchan Box office collections. We Team AddaToday again have to re-evaluate all circuits figure again from Friday onwards and found that our earlier estimated figures were correct and it should be correct by 98%+ accuracy.
Below are the Box office collection of Bol Bachchan.
AddaToday Calculation (98%+ accurate) -
Friday – 12 cr nett.
Saturday – 11.5 cr nett.
Sunday – 15 cr nett*.
Total – 38.5 cr nett.
As received from Distributors and Trade Analysts (Seems Manipulated) -
Friday – 12.15 cr nett.
Saturday – 13.75 cr nett.
Sunday – 16.5 cr nett*
Total – 42.4 cr nett.

1. this is a weak film from a good but overworked comedy director like thank you (anees and rohit go into overdrive and sajid focuusses on one film for two years)
2. its not part of any franchise (housefull 2 was)
3. it has abhishek bachchan jo kisi bhi film ke 20-30 cr kha sakta hai.
par ek baat to tai hai. bol bachchan ka target rowdy ko banaana unfair hai. that will have to be ajay devgan’s one big ticket action film.

Anyway for numbers Boxoffice india is bit more accurate and they seem to have got it right .. -

Probably the distributors gave wrng info.. maybe they were bribed.

Taran,Komal were like 5-7 cr ahead on Ra.one, final total ended less than BOI.
