Why there are so many tigers in NG ? Are Bhai’s fan feeling insecure ?
There is a dilouge in Rajnikant’s film “Jhund main to Suwar (Pig) aate hain, Sher to akela aata hai”. When i saw Teaser of Salman’s Ek Tha Tiger i felt this dilouge is perfect for Salman because among the many teasers released in this year the Teaser of ETT was best. Oh ! wait it was Mindblowing. But then came the promo and it is a big letdown. Though it is still ok but if teaser was out of the world then the promo is The Hero meets Ready kind of feeling. I don’t know if bhai’s fan on NG will admit it or not but in my office many Salman fan find the promo underwhelming. The fight sequence may look good for a Salman film,Because of late he is doing india based films, but we heve seen this type of fight scene in many hindi films. That is why many neutral members in are saying the film could be fizzeled out after first week in various blogs. After the promo released there is a sudden surge of XYZ- Tiger or ABC-Tiger on NG. It is like they want to force title og thoer bhai’s film title everywhere. My question are they feeling insecure ?
Point 2 – I have a feeling that Superstardom of Salman might be reduce after the Akshay Kumar’s entry into the South indian masala films genre. After the success of Singham and Rowdy Rathore it is quite clear that it is the South indian masala genre which is attracting audience. So far Salman has monopoly over it. But now Akshay and Ajay devgan are doing this gener’s or india based films on consisent base. So it is quite natural that audience has more choice. It is like Laloo and Mulaya are fighting for same vote bank of Muslim and Yadavs. Only one can get support of this vote bank. I mean to say that Salman and Akshay has almost same set of audience. Now it is quite possible that Akki will eat out some Salman fans.

2 0The theatrical trailer of ETT when compared teaser is a kind of letdown but that should be taken as weak trailer as if you see only the trailer without the background of teaser it sounds rock solid and i believe there will be bit of twist that will surely keep the audience engrossing.
I dont understand why haters started cribbing for us by undermining Salman through this trailer as some morons (not in this forum) have been doing after Nadal’s 2nd round exit feel like he was not at all a tennis player,
it was needed that Kabir understands Salman’s super stardom status and devise a story accordingly that is the reason it is little apart from his regular making style and soon he will be joined in the elite club because of this tranformation.

Salman’s major movie next year is Family Drama with Barjatya, Akki’s major movie next year is OUTIM2 so even they are smart enough to not put all their eggs in the Masala Basket.
ETT itself is not usual Mass Masala stuff.

Catch the trailer on the big screen and let us know how you feel. I think it would appear to be much much better. Anyway I think it is a good trailer as it promises a lot. And a trailer is just that- a promise. I don’t like shots after shots compressed within a few seconds to create an impression of being slick. This trailer does it- but also balances it with other stuff.
From the screenshots and whatever bits were comprehensible in the trailer- the action seriously looks never seen before for a Hindi movie. Visually it looks appealing with never seen before locales from Cuba, Turkey etc. Salman is looking quite huge- especially in the tight black T-shirt he looks quite like Jhonny Bravo from cartoon network. But I think it will work in favor for such a theme- similar to Dabangg.
The background music is amazing- there is color and there is Katrina too. No one liner from Salman- but the humor too was just right- not over the top- and not too subdued either.
No wonder people are going gaga over the promo. Though over praise and pumping up usually happens to counter the opposite that generally happens from other stars’ fans on forums like NG. It is hardly an orgy! Happens with all big films.
