Hrithik Roshan is currently shooting for KRRISH 3. However ‘what next’ is the question looming large for quite some time now. Though there have been rumours of all shapes and sizes, two definite projects that he is all set to green-light soon are with Karan Johar and Imtiaz Ali. However the two questions are – ‘Will Hrithik work on both films simultaneously or space them out?’. Also, ‘Who would be his next leading lady?’

“It was around the release of AGNEEPATH when Karan Johar had announced that he would be making a film based on THE IMMORTALS OF MELUHA, first novel of the Shiva trilogy by Amish Tripathi. Though he never mentioned Hrithik’s name on records, the news had leaked that Hrithik was the chosen one. The film is definitely on,” says a source.

On the other hand Imtiaz Ali has not even committed himself elsewhere though it seems unlikely that he would be able to bring Hrithik in front of the camera this year. After all, Hrithik never works on two films at a time and KRRISH 3 will take time. This means for producer Sajid Nadiadwala, there may be some more to kick-start the film before he brings on his other three films – the one which launches Tiger Shroff, the ’2 States’ adaptation and of course the Salman Khan starrer KICK.

“While Hrithik comes back with his dates for the two films, talks are already on for the leading lady. Especially for THE IMMORTALS OF MELUHA adaptation, there is a toss up of leading lady between Vidya Balan and Priyanka Chopra, even though the latter is denying being approached ‘as yet’. On the other hand for the Imtiaz Ali film, it won’t be surprising if the film features his favourite leading lady Kareena Kapoor. On the other hand even Deepika Padukone is a hot contender since she has worked with both Imtiaz (LOVE AAJ KAL) and Sajid (HOUSEFULL). Let’s wait and watch,” the source adds.

Well, the plot is indeed thickening and it is indeed high time before Hrithik makes his plans clearer.
