“Then came the actual take and Amitji was much more charged. I (mock) punched him and threw him on the table as I was supposed to do. But Amitji took a leap, somersaulted and fell off the table. If you remember, that’s where the shot has been stopped even in the actual film.
Amitji said, ‘Mujhe lag gayi hai [I am hurt].’ At first, there was guilt. This was my first film after all. After the accident, Mr Bachchan told me, ‘Relax, these things happen while shooting. It was just a mock fight.’
Then he got up and left. We continued shooting after that. But the next day, he did not turn up for shooting and we panicked. We didn’t realise the seriousness at the time of the accident.
Later, the pain started growing and we thought we should admit him to hospital. Basically, whenever there is internal bleeding, you have to be operated on in a span of 6 to 7 hours. But the problem was nobody could diagnose it and the pain started growing. To be honest, I would say the negligence of the doctors aggravated the whole situation.
He went to a doctor in Bangalore that evening itself, but they said it is muscular pain. But Mr Bachchan’s condition was only going from bad to worse.
The doctors went to one Dr Bhatt for a second opinion. Luckily he saw there was internal bleeding. Dr Bhatt was shocked to see the X-rays and asked the doctors what they were doing as the intestine had ruptured.
Dr Bhatt asked the doctors to call Amitabh Bachchan to the operation theatre immediately. Unfortunately, the operation took place only after 72 hours. The rest is history.”

2 1@dennycrane1 .. No body can understand and know about this facial Pain disease more than me. Now don’t ask me how .. i am not here to disclose every thing. But just let you know, Salman simply displayed weaker side of his psychic condition and extremely low will power after suffering from this disease and undergone surgery for this. And also let you know, it was nothing that serious and painful as you are pointing out. Yes, if will power is weak, even person suffering from kidney stone pain can think of suicide, otherwise this disease is perfectly curable even without surgery. And this is more common to women of older age . . and surgical condition happens only if cause of this disease is psychic condition and patient still not willing to come out of emotional pain. In that case medication doesn’t work. From my experience, just 6 months of medication and some Chinese techniques along with strong will power, and you will get better forever.

And comparing medical condition of two persons from third person is nothing but illogical .. because even two person suffering from same disease could have under gone with different level of sufferings and pain.
Amitabh don’t have small intestines, it was removed in 1982 surgery. Amitabh don’t even have one shoulder, it was cut in early 70′s. Till date he has under gone 5 surgeries of various condition of stomach pain. He has uncured disease Myasthenia Gravis which outs him to operation theater many times.

1 1My facial pain ? Did i said anywhere if i was suffering ? Loll .. if experience is my personal, this could be with treatment of some one close. And i am not comparing, might be Salman was suffering from peak, but even peak is not that bloody painful, its just sleepless at worst condition .. and most important after taking medication, there is no pain at all within 24 hours. So definitely Salman was on medication and was not in pain. But he was unable to stop the medication. His will power was very weak. That’s why to get permanent cure, he under go surgery and now he is pain free without medication.

Point was that you said amitabh never used stunt double and now shetty bhai has exposed amitabh big time using stunt double in almost evry damn film LOLP.S Now salman is also suffering from Aneurysm.
