Akshay Kumar has recorded his first solo blockbuster now. What seemed like a successful film in the making is now challenging records at the very top. Rowdy Rathore, which is continuing to be a hurricane at theatres and still attracting audience by dozens, has now found a place in Top-5 Bollywood films of all times, what with Shahrukh Khan as well as Hrithik Roshan being edged out.

@rohit – ye schloes ko thread close karne ka shauq hai ya threads close karne mein koi business interests ki baarikiyaan hain jo humein pata nahin hain? jsb se ye aaya hai baat baat par threads close kar deta hai. if there is some technical/business reason for closing a thread after 2/3/5/watever number of days, then we shud know it.

7 16Akki ahead of HR is acceptable as RR did better than AP and both did not have a good last year or so. But how can we compare RR (Akki’s best) with Ra.One (SRK’s bad movie if not the worst). Akki took 2+ years to recover from TMK. But, SRK could easily deliver a 100+ cr movie in Don2 just 2-3 months after Ra.One.

Akshay is inconsistent and pretty sure he will lose his Top 5 slot with his next few releases. SRK is consistent and hasn’t had a flop since I don’t know when.

2 7Plus Manish, when Salman did it, he was changing the trends with South Indian OTT Action films, now with Akshay he is just following Salman with RR remake, same with Ajay Devgan with Singham. So one cant say that Akshay has made the same impact that Salman made back in 2009/2010.

1 6This article make me laugh badly .So because of the status we will say this actor is better than the other and the budget can go to the hill loool and compere RR with agneepath is like the similarities between inception and the avengers .RR is massala entertainment like dabangg and the film will not cross 130cr but agneepath is the mow rwo and emotional massala film and collect 121cr and break the opening record no one did that if the film has less emotional will cross 140cr easily .Forget everything i really like the logic right now .Aamir so many people put him N1 or 2 because of the 200CR film when krrish 3 release and beat every single film i will wait for the same people to talk about Hrithik .I pray for Hrithik to do massala entertainment like RR and Dabangg and then we will see what we mean by BIG HIT .

RR’s 65 % business is coming from SS not multiplex and 65 % means huge considering the ticket price there ,and its nt huge in Multiplex though it has done decent in multiplex
rajneeti didnt even have big stars and didnt have comedy still it did 93-95 crore in 201o it was emotionala masla drama , since it was well made it did well , and even agneepath was well made so it did well
