Here’s my take on this:

We all know SRK always takes his friends offers whether their full films or guest appearances so when Shirish offered both TMK and Joker to SRK but he refused because of “script” reasons, there had to be something terribly wrong with the film for SRK to refuse them.

I can understand the delays with VFX because that stuff isn’t easy, remember RaOne having delays because of VFX too so this is totally understandable.

But the fact that Joker was sold for 40 acres was JAW DROPPING SHOCKING. I can understand if the film was sold prior to HF2 and RR but this news comes out after Akshay Kumar gives a Super Hit and a Blockbuster. I don’t even like the idea of them selling at a low price because that means it doesn’t need to bring a whole lot of $$$ at the BO. While you have Aamir and SRK selling their films at unbelievable high prices, here comes the Producer of Joker to sell at 40 acres.

Another shady business is that we all know that VFX isn’t cheap so how can Joker sell at low price when the film is starring Akshay Kumar.

Now since the film was announced, Shirish has been barking like a dog saying the film is India’s First Full Fledged 3D film and now the news comes out that UTV does not want to convert it to 3D. This shows the project is not what it was on paper and neither Akshay nor UTV are positive about it.

Now, lets see how much they spend on promotion and marketing because this will be last savior for Joker.
