5 2At the moment according to their present status: (wrt how the stars movies were received and their recent public preception)
1. Salman Khan-No one can stop this man. His present success is phenomenal. He has changed as a person and his social acceptance has risen.He always had the mass appeal and accpetance and he made the male body beautiful.He had the biggest blockbuster like Maine Payar kiya and Hum aaapke Hain Kaun. But somewhere down he slipped and slipped badly. He was not on this list three to four years back but now he back and on the top . A phoenix who has risen out of the Ashes to claim the crown . He is the new KING KHAN… the best Khan we have.
.2. Akshay Kumar-Tees Maar Khan is forgiven and forgotten. Patiala house though failed with the masses the critics , classes and NIRs liked it . Desi Boyz again was appreciated by the target audience the young city crowd, NRIs and classes and did above average business world wide. But with Housefull 2 . The rules of the game just changed. Inspite of IPL when no big banner/star releases their movie and no five day holiday -Akshay came with House full 2 and it was a success every where metros, small cities, multiplexes, single screens, a-b-c centers and was a huge success abroad also . It is running housefull even now on sundays in some theatres in Mumbai . What a turnaround for Akshay. Now roll on Rowdy Rathore……
3. Aamir Khan- Satyamev Jayate is another feather in his creative cap. He is touching and healing society in a way no one had. I think if he continues like this he will be India’s Oparah Winfrey the world’s biggest entertainer/ superstar.
4. Hritik Roshan- Greek God but less benevolent. After KItes and Guzaarish he had ZNMD and Aagnipeth both had him as very passive role and others took more credit. But we would like maybe more controversial and pathbreaking movies from him. Maybe Karan Johar’s Meluha will be up his sleeve.
5, Sharukh Khan- ( I dont think Sharukh will ever recover from his dream Ra one’s failure…. the repercussions we are seeing now with all the stupid drunken public brawls and media bashing are the after effects…which even Don2 ‘s small success cant cover . ) Next year, I doubt the way he is going if he will be on the list. My heart goes out to him .Sharukh get hold of your professional and personal life. I have appreciated him for his love for Gauri and his friendship with Karan who no one would have befreinded publicly.
6. Ajay Devgan- Kajpl seems to have groomed this guy. He looks better , younger and sexier than before. Singham is fresh in public memory even now but had a very bad Teez.
7. John Abraham-( this guy should be on top..if only he does more commercial movies , like in the last 2 years. Breaking off with Bips seem good …Force, Desi Boys, Housefull 2, and Vicky Donor are proof.)
8. Katrina Kaif-(this is supergirl, just her presence and movie will make it a hit . She is the Queen of the masses. She has a tranquilizing effect on the junta. Not seen one like her in a long time, since Hema, Rekha, Sri, Mads… )
9. Vidya Balan – She is the new Shabana Azmi but has box office pull. With Dirty Picture and Kahaani she has the power, awards and media support as well.
10. Emran Hashmi- This guys success graph keeps going higher. Acting wise he was always good but people noticed only his kiss. It is maybe a compliment to say so. But with each role, acceptance has crept in a more chilling way than the roles he does. Murder, Once Upon A Time, Jaanat2 ….He is way ahead in the so said young crowd.

Also the TRP of JD is another proof his growing popularity Now that u called influence over audience.
