You forget Emran has got these hits in 9 years over 25 films. While Emran has and ranbir ahs done it over 8 films in 4 years and Ranbir ahs done it over 8 films in 5 years. So Ranbir is aghead and Emran is way ahead.
( Just for an anlogy think Bradman has only 29 test centuries vs $2 of Kallis and 41 of Ponting. So Bradman is aquiatea pathetic player compared to Kallis and Pontiung, right? Wrong. 0 1LOL Emraan ahead in BO? Hahaha… The opening Rockstar received cannot be neglected. Even big stars solo films fail to get 30cr in weekend today. Emran Hashmi’s openers are well below 25cr be it any film. His Crook failed miserably and so did Awaarapn despite of being an excellent film.
Even Rocket singh which is Ranbir’s failure did 20cr despite of heavy competition (Paa released a week before, Avtaar released a week after and then there was 3I). There’s a huge difference between Emraan and Ranbir in terms of BO. Just having many hits doesn’t make Emraan bigger star. Getting big openings is good determination for box office pull. Ranbir competes Akshay and Ajay, though he may lag by a bit.
And Emran and Imran are in same league. Even SHahid Kapoor is there but he is behind these 2.
And I dont need to speak about acting I guess.

as far as opening is cncrnd one shld thnk abt movie potential i.e whenever u make big budget movie it excitment & curiosity amng audience automatically as tat is case wit movies like rockstar, agent vinod,etc so they guarantees big openg bt gve loses bcz of avg cntnt… So for small movies potential wl be always less, i hope u got it…only thng matters is roi in whch emraan is way ahead than ranbir…There is no doubt ranbir is way bigger than emraan in mplx whereas emraan is ahead ss. Overall ranbir as slight edge over emraan, may emraan go up with shanghai.

akshay dekh ke hi chhote mote ghotaale karne waala, ladkiyon ki dalaali arne wala, bangkok ke gay massage parlou mein kaam karne waala lagta hai. just look at how innocent like mischevious school kid salman khan looks in the ready song dhinka chika and see how ugly and wanna be is akshay looking in its copy chinta ta ta.

0 0@superstarsam – hrithik has 3 solo hero blockbuster, one 3 hero blockbuster, akshay doesnt have a single solo hero blockbuster. which means he has never been able to connect to a cross section of audiences. hrithik has done much less work than akshay and a comprehensive comparison is not possible between the two but except for number of hits hrithik will be ahead of akshay on most scales (biggest hits of the year, blockbusters, hit:flop ratio, etc) off course akshay must have done 100 films while hrithik has 25 so total hits akshay ki zyaada hongi.

Akshay is dng movie in every 2/3 mnth whch audience want to watch same actor on screen, just use cmn sense yar, even if akki cms once in a 2 year with a decent cntnt then it cn easily achieve bt hmslf doesnt want to do as he loves work….

0 0Superstar Sam- Well I do consider your views but don’t agree. I totally disagree that big budget films automatically creates buzz for its own. Recent example- TEZZ. It had good budget but failed miserably. In contrast there’s THE DIRTY PICTURE. With low budget, TDP got 30cr weekend. So budget is really not a afctor for good opening or bad opening according to me.
About ROI, yes its important but for a film’s success not actor’s success. People are not going to note what amount of profits did investors make! Its the content of the film and depended on that, the stardom is recognized.
Just think what would’ve happened to Salman Khan if he would have not done Masala films like Dabangg, wanted, bodyguard, ready! Its all matter of projects. Better the content of the film, better will the actor arrive as a star.
