0 0looks good bachans voice does seem odd in promo but the guys such a great actor and does take risks i.e agneepath plus a gangster flick he knows he is also in it with good actors im sure he thinks highly of sanjay and see’s rana as a kid with potential so im going with bachan creating a classic charactor. This will be bachans biggest grosser in 5 years as i dont think he has apeared in a movie that has done more than 50crore for a long long timedutt and rana im sure will be awsome in this rgv im sure wouldda made a good movie better than what he has come out with recently and i noticed oberoi’s name sanjays secratery/manager in the presents credits so i asume dutts got sumin to do with the production of this one. Anyway i will say this will do 60crore min which would be good for this sort of movie with these stars as great as bachan nd dutt are on there own i think these two will struggle to do over 60crore at there age but lets see how good the promotion by rgv he should be getting dutt and bachan appearing 2gether on shows nd interviews etc promoting it like crazy using the angle of 2 legends appearing together in an epic. this is how they have got to play it in order to get people intrested in them again and rgv has got to promote like this is the last in the trilogy of his mumbai gangster epics nd in interviews etc clearly stating this is no sarkar rc etc etc but his completion of his trilogy and on the lines of satya nd company. Another thing if this movie gets bad revies its over nd the only way it wikll get them for this movie is if critics dont like bachans performance and goinjg by the promo that could get a 50-50 reaction.

Rana was good in Leader but Ranbir was good too.
Rajneeti was/is shit whereas “Leader” was great. They both released in same year but Rajneeti was superhit and Leader a flop…. Leader deserved to be a hit at least.

0 0Aan was a below average film at best, some of RGV’s worst film are better than Aan.
Again, RGV is pretty average when it comes to writing & because he does not have writers like kashyap & Sahni around him any more, most of his recent films were below par.
Department has been written by Nilesh Garkar, the guy who wrote Agyaat…..so I am not sure how well it will shape up even if RGV has given his best shot to this one.
Khakee on the other hand is a gem & difficult to surpass.

0 0The thing is that with today’s editing techniques and sensibilities, the promos of all dramatic/crime films would be impressive and slick- Even Players had a decent promo- It’s easy today to patch up the most impressive bits of a film and back them up with an edgy background score-
So for me it is more about the theme and feel of the movie- this one looks like a rehash of a lot of the earlier RGV films- Amitabh looks straight out of Sarkar Raj in terms of styling- Will watch this one only if the reviews are good.

what crap.. has anyone seen rana’s movies in telugu.. he is the most wooden actor i have seen in recent times.. despite having good physique,fantastic voice,his dialogue delivery is painfully weak.. all those bachchan haterswho are praising him,will go silent once theysee him in a couple of movies..
btw he was as weak as pratheik in DMD.. i would have loved abhishek here ,instead of him..

i have watched Rana in only one telugu movie Leader and it was the first time i saw him and i liked him in Leader but i have to agree with u on his act in DMD…… he was weak in DMD IMO as well but Prateik was worse than him

Rana was awesome in leader and he has a long way to go. And I am sure, by the time he does as many films as Abhishek, he will stand miles ahead in comparison! -

0 0I have seen Rana’s only Dum Maaro Dum and he was no where near to Abhishek in movie. Abhishek was in fantastic form in DMD .. while Prateik was weakest link. Rana was good though .. but not close to Abhishek.
However in this promo, Rana is looking superb.
