* Everyone is speculating whether DABANGG director Abhinav Kashyap has indeed signed Ranbir Kapoor for his next venture, which will be made in collaboration with Viacom18? Initially, it was reported that Shah Rukh Khan would essay the lead role in the film. The fact is, Abhinav did meet Ranbir, but there is no official confirmation yet. Meaning, the actor is yet to give his official nod to the project in question.
* The BIG news is the teaming of Aamir Khan and director Rajkumar Hirani, after the grand success of 3 IDIOTS. A lot of people are keen to know if Aamir and Hirani are indeed teaming up again. Well, the truth is, yes they are. Hirani himself confirmed to this writer that Aamir has consented to act in his next venture. The scripting of the film is now complete.
* The leading actress, who has delivered back to back hits, has decided to charge a fat fee henceforth. Also, she has been advised to be a partner in profits by people close to her. Well, she deserves the success… and the money too!

Both DG and Ishiqya were declared below average and average respectively by BOI. Both grossed 14 cr and 21 cr, but I believe Ishqiya budget was higher to DG
Also, it is the truth the DG is highest grossing art movie. It is the 3 Idiots of art movies from a commercial perspective. So Aamir has the highest commercial grosser in 3 Idiots and highest Art grosser in DG. Whether you like it or not.

0 01. HAHK was a romantic movie… So unless you think otherwise, it would be fair so say DDLJ is second biggest romantic grosser of it’s era. Last decade however I think LAK, APKGK, RNBDJ outgrossed it.
2. Why is it BS that DG is ‘Highest Grossing Art movie’? Name one art movie which has done more. And don’t be ridiculous and call offbeat movies art. And as per Doga’s reliable model, he had certified DG economic success. And also, some people have liked/loved movie. Infact, the famous Pak cricketer Imran Khan has mentioned DG his favorite movie in his interview.
And DG made distributor share more than it’s budget purely from theatrical revenue. So how can you call it a BO failure?
What about Don 2 then? Theatrically it didn’t even recover it’s cost. Costing 110 cr, it made DS of 57 cr India + 32 cr overseas = 89 cr. Short by a huge 21 cr. If DG is termed a failure, then so is Don 2 a massive flop. Ra.One will be considered a disaster by that yardstick.
I cannot believe you of all people are behaving like a fanatic.

0 0IMHO, Swades was one f d most brilliant movies of SRK’s career and last decade.
Agreed as a follow up to Lagaan it faltered but man, srk is a knockout as Mohan.
Totally excellent acting…U need to seep in Swades slowly and aaram se…Many scenes will make u go Wow and stay wid u for a long time.(dat train scene is Iconic in all respects).
Swades was brilliance but behind Lagaan.
