Realistic Housefull 2 Prediction

*Considering HF2 is liked as much as HF1 or somewhere around there…

Opening Weekend : HF1 had a opening weekend of 31 cr. Now it sure had a good opening period(first weekend post IPL), but even though HF2 is releasing with IPL its also got a good bank holiday on Friday.(Good Friday) so it will offset it.

Using norms of Inflation , approx weekend for HF2 with respect to HF1, comes to ~ 39.25 cr. But considering the fact that it will release in almost double the prints (2700+) and also it has usual Sequel Franchise Appeal, another 4-5 cr can be added.

So Overall Weekend Prediction : 40-45 cr.

First Week Prediction : Weekend to Week conversion for HF1 was 1.53. Taking a similar factor here, the First week collection comes at 62-68 cr Range.

Lifetime Prediction : HF1 had competition from Badmaash Company but overall had a decent BO run. HF2 has 3 clear weeks with some small movies and ofcourse IPL,so that is also comparable.

Week to Lifetime ratio of HF1 was 1.52. Taking that as reference again, Lifetime Prediction for HF2 comes at 94-104 cr.

Overall i think it might end up in the higher end of the prediction due to franchise appeal and larger release.
