TV channels line up for the most bankable star

Salman Khan has become the new ‘king Khan’ of Bollywood by all stretch of imagination.
He is a superstar and has become the most bankable star in the world of endorsements.
It not only Bollywood that’s going gaga over the action star, Salman Khan has found a new following among TV channels too. News is that all the three top TV channels in India – Star, Colors and Sony-desperately want Salman on their shows.
While Sony is keen on retaining Salman ‘bhai’(brother) as the famous host for ‘Dus Ka Dum’, which insider say the ‘Dabangg’ hero is not too charged up about, Colors want him back on the ‘Bigg Boss’ next season thanks to the TRPs his presence garners.
But the best offer is from Star. In an attempt to revive its supremacy in the TV world, Star has offered to conceptualizing a show as per the star’s musing to have him on the channel.
A Sony insider confirms the news and states: “We are planning something so that we can rope in Salman Khan. Actually, I am not sure what the show will be like.”
Both Colors and Star spokesperson refused to comment.
Recently Salman demanded eight crores for eight hours for a TV commercial.
Fully aware of his market value and fan following, the makers of the commercial, without giving a second thought agreed to his quotation.
Salman is now the hot-favourite amongst all production houses and channels too.
