    The second week collections of 3 Idiots and JTYJN are extraordinary.

    1) The difference between 3 Idiots and Dabangg is around 21 crores. Big budget films having even bigger stars struggle to a similar first week.

    2) JTYJN had a first week of around 21 crores and then a 18 crore second week. Awesome trending.

    Add d collections ( By wch it exceeded 3I’s first week ) of d movies ( wch broke 3I’s First week ) and add d collections to d second week den d diff ll b minimal and not something wot it is made to be.. In short take d cumulative BO collections of TWO weeks n den compare.. Then it would b fair to compare :-) I thunk d second week seems huge only cos it’s first week was less Dan BG, Dabang, Ra One

    3i performed exceptionally well.Not only Aamir but other lead actors madhavan sharman were equally Great even that debutant omi vaidya did superb as a debutant and last but not least Rajkumar hirani the man himself just Brilliant director.

    faulty list. for bodyguard and ra1 day 10-16 have been counted instead of day 8-14. obviously they shud be much above.

    @jaspthewasp – ra1 8-14 day collections were around 25cr plus. 10-16 day collections were 15 cr. if u add 9 cr collected on day 8 and 9 and deduct 3 cr collected on day 15 and 16, ra1 2nd ween crosses 22 cr.

    same for bodyguard. add rs 12 cr collected on day 8 and 9 and deduct 3 cr collected on day 15-16 and bodyguard second week collections goes over 30 cr and the film moves up to 4th spot.

    That isn’t a fair comparision for the other films; both ra.One and BG have two first-week days which obviously are much better than second week days. Better to stick to the sort of list BOI puts.

    wat do u mean by “two first week days”?

    if u mean holidays then wed to tuesday week will only have the regular weekend, just that it will be in the middle of the week.

    and if u mean two days taken from week one then i wud say week 1 for ra1 and bodyguard wud be day 1-7 (wed-tuesday) so this method is perfectly allright. its the boi method thats faulty.
