SOTW : Akshay kumar Death scene from Khaaki

Khaake was one of the best thrillers/ Cop movie made in Bollywood with such strong characterization , a serious theme with twists and turns and with correct dosage of humour and love story ….

Amitabh as a looser Police man who hasnt achieved anything but still has high principles .. is weak and yet very determined about his ways

While Ajay devgan a shrewd , sharp criminal who is cunning and ruthless

Akshay Kumar who has the least author backed role and was providing the comic relief and bringing Light feeling to an engaging thriller would have been lost in crowd as being another good performance along with the other actors of the movie but this death scene is what made Akshay’s role standout tall amongst many good performances, be noticed and remembered..

Enough of bakar now enjoy the scene :)

He did all sorts of thing in this movie, corrupt cop, funny, romantic and action. Actually his role was the massiest and most enjoyable and also his screentime was a lot more than ajay devgan and amitabh bachchan if you see the movie again.

Manish i still remember when i was around 14 years old, it was one day before EID i went to a video shop for the first time to rent a Akki film out and i saw the poster of Khakee which had just released newly at that time, saw BigB/Akki/Ajay and i thought this looks good so rented it out, I was so shocked with the twist, indeed a very sad and an emotional scene for me at that time when you see your hero dying :(

shooting range mein khare ho kar gatte par goli chalana asaan hai kyunka gatte palat kar waar nahin karte par zinda insaan karte hain….main hamesha khatre ki taak mein hn jahan danger wahan danger…yeh neeli ankhen marwayangi… akki had so many awesome dialogues he may have an attb or nt but no khan or roshan can give awesome performance like this

amitabh’s acting was great also but if look at the clear picture akki’s role was the most enjoyable, weather in action, romance, comedy he outshine everyone in those fields.

@sahil yes akshay had enjoyable role but IMO AB acting was best among all.all others ajay akshay aish did very well too.in my show with akshay people were also enjoying ajay’ s role and dialogues entry to the fullest.

@tashan no need to bring salman or jeet.check that film you will know that sunny had strong role but salman was also lead in that.

Aryan people are just afraid to accept that for once big daddy has been overshadowed, I think people were more clapping and cheering akki’s dialogues in the cinema hall than others. He had the best lines, best scenes, BigB was good but seen these kind of roles he’s done in the past hence why akki’s role was a suprise most and best aswell.

    @ manish

    i dont know anything….

Khakee for me was akshay and amitabh….nothing else…just nothing else at all…..they were good in Waqt too but Khakee is Khakee yaar….
    SHit……
Brilliance Personified….and some good songs too…!!!

    What a movie….!

    ………………………………………………………………………….

and agree with Rajkumar Santoshi being one of the Best director around.

i have loved or atleat enjoyed almost all his movies till date…
    Ghayal,Ghatak,Damini,APKGK,TLOBS,Khakee,Andaaz Apna Apna.

Halla Bol seems to be his only weak movie IMO.

    ……………………………………………………………………………….

such a stronghold over the audience mids since the 90’s and is is damn underrated(meaning not very popular in general) but makes Fantastic Movies time and again…..

A director with body of work like his must be thorughlt respectes…Sad to see a user called AA degrading him badly in some post on NG yesterday.

Though his next film is with abhay deol-sonam kapoor i will still look forward to it.

7.Khakee-Amitabh Bachchan & Akshay Kumar are cops escorting a dreaded terrorist. Bachchan’s introduction and the monologue at the Village Fair is a KILLER. So is Akshay’s role as the junior cop who is sharp and witty. Aishwarya and Tusshar sleepwalk through their roles though but Ajay Devgn as the Villian is just about convincing. The film belongs to Bachchan-Kumar all the way. This is deffo better then ‘Waqt:A Race Against Time’ and Akshay’s death scene is MIND-BLOWING. It also has some melodius songs.

    RATING – 4/5

My Rating for Waqt is 3/5(Fantastic 1st Half and comic scenes)

    …………………………………………………

I am deeply Sad to see SRK not even in 1 Iconic Cop Movie OR Cop Character.
    :(

    ……………………………………………………

I am Eagerly Awaiting Rowdy Rathore Manu Bhai…..

Made by SLB and Prabhudeva(aftr Wanted–again Cop Movie) if he gets thsi one right than there is no stoping RR.

It will be akki’s 1st 100cr+ movie if made well and a Slap to his Haters whoi say Akki doesnt have Solo BB.

Looking forward to its trailer and some good songs.

    ……………………………………………………………..

@ tashan, manu & all akki fans

HF-2 poster is only out but no trailer yet.

While Rowdy Rathore trailer is confirmed with AP along with talaash and Agent Vinod.
    :)
