It was a proud moment for Indian movie lovers present at the New Year’s eve bash at the River Thames. According to tradition, thousands of New Year revellers celebrate the occasion with music being belted out over loudspeakers throughout the night.

But this year, surprise, surprise! Two Indian songs featured in the list. The first one was from Shah Rukh Khan’s RA.One, Wanna Be My Chhammak Chhallo; and the second was Dhanush’s Why This Kolavari Kolavari Kolavari Di.

Needless to add, every Indian on the Thames that night was proud to be an Indian!
