Aamir inspite of one disaster in 2011 and no release in 2010 is still on 2nd position. Thank God BOI is updating their rankings regularly.

Shetty bhai, I do not doubt your criteria but I have doubts with respect to your rankings!

If you talk of opening than SRK have given two better openings than any of Aamir’s. Aamir on the other hand have had no release in 2010 and one in 2011 that too proving a disaster and still he is able to make it to no. 2. Thats my only issue with your ranking.

Whoever has sceen DG says it is Aamir Khan Movie and he is main lead in it. It is just that it didn’t do well, so it became Aamir Khan movie not as main lead. Standards should be set equal for every actor.

Doga, agree. Its close (for now) and Agneepath will make that difference visible.

Naveed, I guess Salman will continue to be at top at least for entire next year.

Talaash Flops Aamir No. 1 Chance will be less. Salman has strong chances to maintain it. SRK can stablise his position with Yash Raj as it is his favourite gener and Don 2 has brought trust of audience on him to an extent.

@ harish – what I meant was judge him in a full fledged role. Is it fair to judge SRK in Dulha Mil Gaya or Salman in Hello??

Anyway I don’t want this to ruin this thread. Will discuss it some other time.

Agree harish that the same rules should be applied to all actors.

@Naveed Salman’s Hello is not even comparable to SRK’s DMG or Aamir’s DG. :/

Salman’s role was special appearance in HELLO just for 1song and one scene unlike Aamir and SRK in DG and DMG.

For Salman it would be appropriate to take a film like BAABUL or SAAWAN when comparing to a films like DMG and DG

why aamir is there. he has no release in 2010 and 2011. is it 3I effect.
if it is that then it isnt a yearly list.
u should count those stars which have movies released in a year. and then compare themselves. like in 2011 no aamir. ajay and hrithik could come one place up or more.

If it is a start power list then defintely Aamir comes in second position(for me he is no. 1 currently.). But the list is based on 2011’s boxoffice performance. Then no way he can be there with no releases in last 2 years.

I thought Imraan Khan would have been higher considering he successes of his films. Then again this is just a perception. I trust the rankings given here as they seem to be based on cold hard facts.

Aamir doubters, if you consider DG, also consider DB. Aamir was in the fanstastic item song. His presence was there throughout the film in the form of a poster in the home of our protagonists :)

Also if this list is of top stars (gender neutral) why no Vidya Balan? Apart from Dirty Picture she also was in No One Killed Jessica.
