Even in 2009, such silly gossip columns had ”reported” that Aamir was insecure and keeping a tab on collections of Love Aaj Kal, later he was afraid that Wanted might break Ghajini’s records. They even went to the extent of saying that he is so insecure that he has decided to postpone the release of 3 Idiots to next year, seeing the ”craze around LAK and Wanted”!!! LOL! Anyone who bought this garbage got a kick in their rear when 3 Idiots not only released on time but also became a box office juggernaut like NEVER BEFORE!
Chalo, keep using Aamir’s name for publicity. The guy who gave two ATBBs back to back and the record for highest grossing film of all time, still lies with his film – is ”getting cold feet” seeing so-called records (??!!) of Ra 1 (?!!).
The guy who is the only one to have a 200 crore nett grosser to his credit is accused of being ”insecure” of a guy who has no 100 crore film to his credit till date and is struggling to match to Aamir’s set records in 2009!

2 03 idiots became the highest grosser ever thanks to its great content not aamir khan, aamir khan just ensured it got a good opening and first week collection, the film’s content itself led it to 200 crores plus and in regards to the film’s opening, both salman and srk have beaten aamir, it’s just that their films (dabangg, bodyguard and ra.one) haven’t had as good content to get 200 crores… well ra.one might but looks unlikely

Also, don’t forget Aamir gave a 115 crore grosser in Ghajini and beat SRK totally. Credit of Ghajini’s success goes to Aamir alone (since most people try to trash Ghajini in terms of content).
What ”SRK has beaten Aamir”? No big deal if his film has opened someway better than 3 Idiots. It’s not like he broke 3 Idiots opening record by a huge margin. No big deal if he finally managed to achieve better opening than 3I after 2 years of that film’s release. And again, no big deal if he finally manages a 100 crore grosser 3 years after Ghajini!
All I wanted to say is that this whole stupid gossip article is pointless. Aamir is in London only, he is not even in India and shooting of Dhuan is on. And considering the kind of record he already has, and others are trying to cross that benchmark, accusing him of being ”ínsecure” or ”getting sick” seeing so-called ”record” collections of Ra 1 is a poor joke.
And no matter what arguments you put forth for Aamir being responsible or not for 200 crores collections of 3I, the fact remains 3I is an Aamir Khan starrer and no one can take away any credit of its success from him. The ultimate benchmark for all actors remains 3 Idiots till date, and it’s a FACT that the film is in Aamir’s resumè! He’s got no reasons at all to be insecure of anyone.
Yes Salman is doing extraordinary, but then Aamit can’t be dragged into the wat simply because he has had no commercial film as a star released after 3 Idiots. No point in talking about a star who was on a break!
FACT remains – Aamir is the first star to give a 100 crore grosser, first one to give 200 crore grosser and first one to give two ATBBs in a row. These achievements can’t be taken away from him, no matter how much other stars’ films gross at BO.
Whatever I said was strictly in context of this bullshit rumour being spread by SRK partisans in media and online – making it look as if Ra 1 is so big that everyone is afraid.
As for that redundant and useless argument about content – well, no one was stopping other stars from doing 3I. It’s their fault they rejected it! So why say, 3I’s success has got nothing to do with Aamir? Sour grapes!

Chill dude! I was saying all that due to actions of certain SRK fans on Twitter and sites like Orkut.
I know all stars’ fans love to bring down other stars and their movies. But especially on Twitter, it is SRK’s fans who create most ruckus. I could be mistaken, but I have never seen fans of other stars creating fake accounts or spreading fake rumours or going to extra lengths to re-tweet every ”anti” article against other stars’ and their films.
I have seen them spamming Aamir’s and Big B’s blogs with rudest possible comments about them and their families.
Their own actions are not hidden. There are certain fans of SRK on Twitter, who spend more time trashing other stars than talking about their own idol! SRK ki baat karen na karen, doosron ki zaroor karenge!
The kind of fans and posts I have come across are not innocent guys merely defending against bashing but themselves starting the day and ending it with reckless bashing of other stars.

0 0i think too much publicity cost the movie. people were tired of hearing ra one again and again. also salman fans did a lot of negativity. and storywise it is not good as well. it is just normal with brilliant vfx (ofcourse no one can doubt on that). bodyguard worked due to the dabangg factor. bodyguard worked only on its first week then there was drop due to weak scrpt. same will happen to ra one.
