Reason for choosing the above scale- There should be a central point in any such rating scale- As negative verdicts are not equal to positive verdicts- this is the fairest possible scale (A perfect scale between disaster and Hit- Superhit, BB, and ATBB are bonus verdicts- and desrve this status)

    On an all career scale like this, getting a positive score in itself is a big achievement- A big star like Akki is getting a score of -41 (that too when all his unknown movies have been rated as flops- and not as disaster)

    I think if a similar list is made for huge stars like even Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan- they might go into negative (the longer the career- the tougher it is to get a positive score)

    That’s why it is extremely childish of some mis-informed fans to compare their fac star to one or all of the Khans… The Khans are way ahead… in all departments in my opinion- in terms of Box office certainly- according to FACTS

    Post 2000- the period in which Akki is supposed to be better than Salman- even there Salman has a better score-

    Very good work Piyush. As Rockie said, those who do more movies will have less score. I think this analysis should end here now.

    It was a good thing to do it for the Khans since there are so many fan wars here and your analysis put things very clearly in front of everybody. But it is not needed for the other actors as 90% of the actors have more flops than hits in their careers.

    @ Shalu I admit- as I said- the longer the career- the tougher it is to get a positive score- Rockie bhai is spot on-
    This list I made just to put things in perspective- some fans of a certain actor here are so blinded by their love for their star- that they ignore the facts-
    Anyways- this is done and dusted- no more lists from me- hopefully a recalling post soon…

    @ Prateek- till 1995 they are all there on BOI- even pre 1995 the top hits are listed- some old, unknown ones I assigned as flops (they might have been disasters)- but have kept the same heuristics for all the lists-

    BOI verdcits are not right for some Akshay films.
    Ek rishta is above average.Aankhein is semi hit.Garma masala is hit.Tashan is above average.
    So Akshay will get a positive score easily.
    dwnpiyush,Calculate from 2006.Thats where Aamir’s career began in the 2000s.He has only one hit in lagaan before 2006.
    If we count from 2006 Akshay is ahead of every star.
    Thats why I said Akshay is the No1 star since 2007.

    @SV I gave my version- you all are free to do your own counting- count only for 2007 if you guys want… 3/4 disputable verdicts – wont matter for as I said – I counted all unknown movies as flops- some of them might have been disasters- plus as I have followed the same source for all the lists- so that should not a point of contention…

    @Shalu- Ya- It is baffling actually- Hrithik should have been at par with the Khans- if not ahead- the kind of talent he has- doing such few movies wont help him- looking ahead- there is just agneepath and krish 2 announced as of now-

    And did SV say Akshay is # 1 since 2007? Damm cocaines one hell of a drug! He’s had only one solid hit which was a multistarrer too (Houseful) since 2007 out of the zillion releases.

    Since 2007 joker has 17 releases 1 bb 1 super hit, 5 hits.
    SRK has 4 release 3 blockbuster 1 hit
    Aamir has 3 release 2 atbb 1 super hit
    Salman has 13 release 1 atbb 2 BB 1 superhit
    Ajay devgn has 17 release 2 bb 1 superhit 2 hits

    Since 2007 srk/aamir did very less movies with 100% success rate, so it is better to compare with salman, ajay and joker.

    NIce work, but I dont agree with the comments that an actor with more movies will have a more negative score.

    The scale is infact tilted towards giving positive scores .. like where a Disaster gets -3, an ATBB gets +6

    i think ur scoring method is arronous as i stated in the other thread. by this logic priya rajvansh become s a bigger star than hema malini. and perhaps rajeev kapoor a bigger star in 1985 than amitabh bachchan.
