Sequel to NAMASTE LONDON confirmed Himesh Reshamiya will compose the music


Vipul and Akshay were thinking about making a sequel to either Singh is KinG or Namaste London but aK has given his Nod to the latter One as he thinks SIK 2 script wasn’t shaping up well

Namaste London 2 will start from where the first one ended which means it will be first real sequel for akshay as PHP had a different plot than HP

Himesh will compose the music and Akshay is likely to sing couple of songs himeslf

Katrina will star in the film as well and it goes on the floor after the releae of Joker

    hmmm i know NL was a great film and had great WOM but i would have prefered a sequel to SIK let see how take the story forward

    Another wrng move frm akki, i agree that NL was a good movie these kind of character once watchable u cant extend these kind of movie, if u realy want to make sequel then do the movies like garam masala, hp 3, or even try khiladi series,
    one more thng y he is dng movies with same useless directors like priyadarshan, anees, vipul,nikhil etc,

    Sequel to NL kind of movies shd not be attempted.
    It was a rare good movie of Akshay,sequel shd live upto the expectations.

    Comparison b/w NL and NL sequel( if made):

    NL(2007)
    1.Akki with decent reputation of doing avg-good roles.
    2.Himesh Reshamia top composer
    3.Katrina new beauty (with hidden acting capabilities)
    4.Fresh concept

    NL sequel
    1.Akki with no reputation,audience gave up expecting anything sensible from him.
    2.Himesh Reshamiya(who once decided to compose only for his own acted movies) with no momentum,no/far lesser fan following,and not even in top 10 among composers.
    3.All secrets of KATRINA’s acting revealed.
    4.Akki movies and concept–disjoint sets

    A really bad decision, in my opinion. This is the problem with Bollywood. There are some movies, sequels to which should not be attempted. A bad sequel often mars the beauty of the first film. This is what happened with Krrish, it just destroyed the beauty of its predecessor Koi Mil Gaya. Namaste London, I think is one of the finest movies Akshay has starred in, but frankly speaking, the story has ended and there is no good pushing this story further. If they had tried a sequel as an outright new story like Munnabhai, then I think it would have been better.

    no offence but what a stupid statement is this…. Yes nikhil can be a useless director to some extent ….. but priyadarshan, bazmee and vipul shah are wonderful directors …. even Priyadarshan is an excellent genious director

    if some movies don’t work at BO doesn’t means that directors are useless. But if one just like movies with a social messege and hate entertaining movies then only he can hate directors like Priyan …. the only director who can combine emotions and pulse of life with the hardcore comedy in a movie unlike David Dhawan whose comedies are just comedies…

    @ samwal,
    my point is that these directors do same kind of useless stuff, priyadarshan movies almost same kind of comedy ek piche dusra baagraha,wheter it is hp,ddd,km,bhagam bhag, all d movies are of same genre, its good to watch one r twice bt nt regularly, if priyan want to do serious movies then he prefer ajay r any other actor,
    i loved anees movies no entry, welcome, sik, & he too following same kind of movies again & again,

    superstar sam doing same is not bad …. the thing is what is repeated again n again is that good or bad … If in cricket one plays with the same strategy of hitting sixes & fours in every match and the result is always better .
    and about serious movie Khatta Meetha is there where fans and even critics said that film is Khatta not meetha means serious not comedy.

    About Bazmee , yes after welcome his movies are lacking a bit. Welcome was his last movie i loved. Even SIk was a simple story nothing special in it.
    And buddy none of the hardcore comedy of Priyan is flopped till date. Even if tody he will do a hardcore comedy , it ll rock at BO.

    If TMK would ve been directed by Priyan or Vipul the movie would had crossed 100 cr coz they r not stupid directors like Farah.

    Bazmee is good, Vipul is very good and Priyadarshan is an excellent director….

    Farah is no stupid director . she is a good director , the thing that went against TMK was below avg script and Too much loud spoof . yes spoof requires OTT kind of thing but then its not a loud movie as priyadrashan and sajid kind of movies and this thing backfired ..

    i again reiterate farah is a good director , what akki needs to do is to move to different directors because working with same directors he is being presented in the same way , though i wd love to see Akki in another FULLY FARAH MOVIE(SCRIPT ,DIRECTION EVERYTHING BY HER )

    Manish A Director has the sense of script, if not then he/she is a fake director

    Doing choreography and made a lot of special appearances doesn’t make someone director.OSO was boring and TMK was a waste. MHN was just upto mark. Comparing Farah with Vipul Shah and especialy with Priyadarshan is disrespect to both Vipul & Priyan.

    Even Sajid Khan is a much better Director than Farah Khan. Heyy Babby was excellent and Houseful was Average to Decent movie.

    And Manish Akki should move to other directors but he shouldn’t leave Priyadarshan . He must do a hardcore comedy in every two year, not mixed genre like KM, AR,KI Welcome was the last hardcore comedy of Akshay. And he was King till that or SIK ( A free success ).

    Key of Akshay Success – Hardcore Comedy AND Hardcore Action ….. No mixed genre. And for hardcore comedy Priyan is the best choice.
