pyaar ka punchnama holds well on weekdays
Though PYAAR KA PUNCHNAMA got sidelined at the box-office due to the PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN wave, the film is gradually stabilizing itself on weekdays. The general trend is that the business of films shows a big slump on weekdays, if the weekend business hasn’t been strong, but PYAAR KA PUNCHNAMA was rock-steady on Monday and Tuesday.In fact, at some centres, the film grossed better numbers than Friday.
The India theatrical breakup is as follows:-
Fri: 92 lacs
Sat 1.10 cr
Sun 1.23 cr
Mon 61 lacs
Tues 60 lacs [early estimates]

0oh its a lovely film, a must must must watch, atleast by the youth. yes it essentially is a misogynist’s delight, but then so is a lot of Shakespeare too.
its a breeze of a film that dares to go where dil chahta hai cud not. yes its narrated merely from the male point of view, but then wat the heck, most audience members are males. and and and, it has a heartwarming performance by one of the guys kartik, especially his 3 minute long monologue and breakdown scene. the other guy with spectacles is also good, however the third guy (i dont kno their names) just keeps striking studdly poses, playing guitar and keeps just one frown on his face throghout the film like ranbeer kapoor in rocket singh. but you must watch it. -
