“Eros International, the official distributors of Kambakkht Ishq confirmed that the film had fetched Rs. 100 crores in the first weekend. A source from the production house said, “The film has grossed Rs.70 crores (Rs.700 million) in India and Rs.21 crores (Rs.210 million) overseas. And the music and digital rights of the movie have fetched Rs.10 crores (Rs.100 million)”

Wasnt this a Big Lie? Didnt Kambakth Ishq make around 26 crores Nett in India in the first weekend? That means, its gross would be around 41-42 crores, and not 70 crores. Also, its overseas collections were in the range of 14-15 crores in the first weekend. Not 21 crores. Hell, the movie didnt even touch 100 crores gross in its lifetime (46 crs Nett meaning 71 crs gross and 21 crs from Overseas).
