Gorilla

Gorillas are the largest of the living primates. They are ground-dwelling herbivores that inhabit the forests of Africa. Gorillas are divided into two species and (still under debate as of 2008) either four or five subspecies. The DNA of gorillas is 98%–99% identical to that of a human, and they are the next closest living relatives to humans after the two chimpanzee species.......To cut a long story short, I am the kaala bander residing inside YOU!

Kaise ho Rocky? UP politics in turmoil! Kaun kiske saath hai pata nahi!

BTW- Just back from Bihar around 20 days back, and believe me what an amazing turnaround under Nitesh. Should serve as role model for all those who say “system kuch nahi karne deta.”

Do you think Mayawati can be reelected ???

She will be there in power, in one form or the other, may be with far les seats. Next election in UP will be Rahul baba vs Mayawati, that is CONG versus BSP.

Actually, she is trying to improve things. I mean it is perceptible to all. Not that she has been able too. But the effort is there.

As far as Mulayam is concerned, he will try to get Azam Khan & co in again hoping for muslim votes, but that won’t happen. The votes will go to Mayawati or Cong.

That is sore point boss, but that was a worthles ego trip.

But there have been a lot of power plants, units put up (imagine after Ampara in 91!), plus police is on their toes, chahe kuch par paye ya nahin.

There is still a lot of crime, but nothing like Mulayam’s gundaraj.

Tango see Bachchan’s class act -
Vidhu Vinod Chopra called in the morning inviting me over for a chat, on his salubrious terrace, in an aesthetically designed home. His wife Anupama, and one that does film reviews on the electronic, had just reprimanded him towards behavior to the media. At a ‘3idiots’ press conference that took a slant on the Chetan Bhagat novel and the rights that needed to be covered, Vinod had lost his cool and asked in fairly strong voice for the journalist to’ shut up’ ! This had caused umbrage and resentment among the fourth estate, who did not hesitate to shut him down instead. She was drawing his attention to the fact that for a question that came my way during the reading of the latest Filmfare, when told to comment on Naseeruddin Shah’s remark on how I had become a victim of my star hood and forgotten how to act. That he had preferred me in my earlier ventures due to the simplicity of playing characters who were closer to the earth, to which I had replied that when an actor of Naseeruddin’s stature speaks, you just listen head down and quietly with your hands behind your back.

This Anupama felt was a genuine manner in which an individual should behave with the media. And she was wishing Vinod would follow suit. We broke our backs laughing on this !!

As far as POWER PLANTS in U.P are concerned , things will Really Improve within one year because I , myself ,is a part of Generation Monitoring in U.P (In SHAKTI BHAWAN ,Thermal Operation Unit,Lucknow) , because near 1300 MW of Capacity will be added into U.P Power Sector of U.P.
P.S: @Tango (Abid) Bhai , i was also LECTURER of Electrical Engg. in Rohilkhand University Campus ,Bareilly for nearly four years ,then shifted myself into POWER SECTOR ,two years back but still miss my Lecturership Days(Specially the kind of respect student gives).
I still remember, when i watched RNBDJ in Prabha Theater ,Bareilly there were final year B.Tech students and they came towards me and just started to touch feet in the waiting area (Though i have already resigned from the University but still they paid their respect),that MOMENT was so much TOUCHING(I hope u also experience such TOUCHING MOMENTS) .
That is why , i remember my Lecturership days still today.

ROCKY Bhai, during those days , PRABHA Theater was owned by OMPRAKASH ji (One of the fine charactor artists of Hindi Cinema).
I also watched DDLJ in 1995 in Prabha Theater in Sixth week (That was a night show, but occupancy was upto 90%).
I still remember those days because in that time DDLJ ran 40 straight week in Bareilly(28 weekd in Prabha and 12 weeks in Kumar Talkies) also Hum Aapke Hain Kaun ran Record Breaking 42 continous weeks in Prabha and Raja Hindustani Ran for 36 Straight week in Prabha.
Today we are now more technologically advanced but i still miss those days.

The growth rate in bihar is only second to Gujrat although Bihar have an advantage of lower base…..Gujrat have a high growth rate of 12-14(Which is highest in asia and probably in the world) pct since last 7-8 years…

It goes on to show that Good goverance yeild good results and in turn helps in socio-economic development…Without Doubt Narendra Modi and Nitish kumar are two of the finest and honset administarors in India now..

Well to give you right figures –

Bihar grew by 11.04% while Gujrat grew by 11.06% as per the government report.

Gujrat’s growth rate is really wonderful. Bihar needs to sustain it for long time now. I hope it’s just the beginning.

I can see it in the promos of Rann that Big B is in top form. Ramu ki picture mein dar yeh lagta ki ya to aar ya paar, but this time Ramu seems to have got everything right. And that is why I’m checking out Rann next week, as I told Sandy.

    LOL ROCKY Bhai,
Yeah Tango Bhai,Looking forward to do M.Tech(Will try to take leave for it), one of the reason for me to take interest in Academics was that Bareilly is my Home Town and i really liked my job as a Lecturer there and i’m also thinking to get back to University Job(After some experience of this Power Sector job and M.Tech).
By the way, yesterday all the HUNGAMA took place near Shakti Bhawan and even today there is lot of security (Though we did not involve in strike because of our urgent nature of duty).
