Noor-e-khuda is clearly the soundtrack’s best, with Adnan and Shreya joining Shankar in a tune that navigates from lovely pop to bewitching, tabla-driven portions; the chorus, in particular, is extraordinary. Solid start to the year, by the trio!

MNIK music is growing on me slowly, liking Sajda and Noor E khuda.
The Promo BGM is Good too.

Doga has the soundtrack been released officially in the Overseas?
I know it has not been released in India, but as you are there is US I’m asking you.

Disappointed. Only Allah hi Rahem is good.
Sajda starts out good and promises lot of things…ends up okish (the usual punjabi ranjhana-saajnaa-beliya irritating thing in between). Others are boring. Lyrics is good though.
None of the songs create Rahman magic (I mention Rahman because he is the strongest in this genre). They should have used Rahman instead of SEL..

Tere Naina is nice, the theme music is distinctive and classy and Sajda has a certain familiar but popular ring to it.
But as a whole, this is a laboured effort from S-e-L, who have tried too hard to come up with an ambitious album. It’s a break-away album for Johar and s-e-l, but not sure it’s come out very natural. Rahman or even Amit Trivedi would have been the better choice. There is a feel of musical richness, but the melody is missing.
Compare this with KANK, which had some real gems.

I am hooked to Allah hi Rahem now. The ONLY song which stands out. Love the way singer lifts the song with “har ek nazare jabaa tu hai” ..awesome!

“saans e fiza me tu hai
ruh-e-baya.N me tu hai
har ibtidaa me
har imhetaa.N me
har ek nazare jabaan.N me tu hai
Har jarre me ..tu hai chupaa
fir dhunde kyn..tera pata
tu hai dhoop me tu saaye me
apne me hai tu paraye me
alllaaaah”
Lovely.
But doesnt this contradict the opening lines in trailer by Khan’s mother “Sirf Do kisam ke insaan”?!?
Aside: (not related to music) The way Khan says it: – “my name is khan” -a pause- “and I am NOT a terrorist” he stresses a bit on NOT when he is supposed to be saying line without any emotion. I know SRK has done lot of study on Asperger/autism but he comes across as inconsistent in promo, even in his walks (when he Sets on “the journey”).
