Heard the album start to end a couple of times. And wow! I got the goosebumps. The film is bound to be something special. After HAHK , and TZP, for the first time, I heard an album where all the songs had something specific to say and they all say it beautifully. Of late, Bolywood films have been having problems about how to use songs and mkae songs in the film interesting. SAnd if they can manage to do it, the film is a big hit: eg Jaane Tu, TZP, Ghajini ( especially Kaise Mujhe, also Guzaarish), Wake Up sid and APKGK. But the way meaning is embedded in each of #I’s sings make it an absolute winner. Now the film is failure-proof. Any bets?

Utkal, i have liked 2 songs only yet, as more videos come out it will add to other songs as well.

As for failure proof, even if the movie didnt have any songs, it would have been a sureshot hit.

3 I will be the biggest hit of the year, any bets.

Yes. Utkal is right here..the songs are so situational…I liked the zoobi zoobi song a bit..Good picturisation….Cany say that for all izz well..But may be we ‘ll like the song once we watch the movie…

3I would be a BO success come what may…Its only a question wheather Raj Hirani can recreate the magic of the Munna bhai series or not??

Utkal, I too have this feeling that the songs seem to fit seamlessly into the film–this in spite of the fact that we have only seen promos so far. The Zoobi-Doobi song keeps buzzing in my head; the Aamir-Kareena pair seems to share a v.g chemistry; the song is well-filmed–looks like some great work from Hirani.I read an Indian express interview with Rajkumar Hirani, and my admiration for this man has really risen. No wonder Aamir was waiting to work with him.

About the film being a sure fire hit–well, it looks like a hit, but one can never be 100% sure about audience reaction. Can only hope for the best. Also hope that India’s security is not tarnished by any more nine-eleven-Mumbai type horrors.

Apparently the distributors have given thums up to the film (as per a planetbollywood report0.
