I was interested in the idea of ALADIN being given an Indian make-over, and with the casting of Ritiesh as Aladin, Amitabh as the Genie and Sanjay Dutt as the evil-doer I was excited! Sadly, Sujoy Ghosh delivers another let-down after HOME DELIVERY, and while ALADIN is infinitely a better film which does have It’s moment, it falters due to a lop-sided screenplay and uneven pacing.
