Rakesh Roshan was all set to go ahead with Krrish 2 this April but the shooting of Krrish 2 has been postponed to September because the senior director let son Hrithik Roshan commit his April dates to Zoya Akhtar for her upcoming multi-starrer which is to be shot entirely in Spain. The movie also stars Abhay Deol and Farhan Akhtar (who also has written the dialogue for the film.)

Hrithik to romance Deepika or Katrina in Krrish 2

Our very own superhero Krrish is making a comeback and taking a leaf out Spiderman’s latest episode, papa Roshan is giving grey shades to Hrithik’s alter ego.

And this is not the sole exciting fact leaked about the film. As per reports, the villain in the much-anticipated SFX flick will be a part robot-part human. Technicians from Hollywood will fly down to work with Rakesh on this one.

As for who will play Hrithik’s love interest?

Allegedly Deepika Padukone or Katrina Kaif will play the lead, but of course since everything is premature, and official sources keep dismissing the whole premise as a figment of the media’s imagination.

   First it will be MNIK vs Kites in 2010.

   Then Ra1 vs Krrish 2 in 2011.

   And most likely SRK’s Don 2 vs Hrithik’s Agneepath in 2012.

   Wah wah! sahi hai mamuuuu!

   btw, wud love to see both deepika and katrina play the glam dolls in krrish 2 … surely Rakesh Roshan can accomodate two babes in the movie.

   Mine was a genuine question. I certainly would rather see abhishek than hrithik in agneepath (although I’d more wish to see the film not be remade), but I had not realized that either one or anyone else had been confirmed. Has Hrithik been confirmed? Even Rakesh Roshan in his recent interview said that Hrithik has committed to doing “a film” with Karan Johar, he didn’t say anything about agneepath…and, in an interview a month or two ago, I recall Johar saying no-one had been cast yet…

   Dude, why are you so defensive? I am not disbelieving you, I was asking what the source of your information was — i.e. if there was some article, interview etc. that I missed. If the answer is that you have a non-public source, then that’s fine too. But perhaps that might have been the better answer to give off the bat, rather than a couple of snide comments.

   Karan has himself confirmed in an interview that Hrithik will be essaying Big B’s role in the Agneepath remake.
