I liked the idea of Stranger than Fiction from the start. And I still like the idea after having seen the film. The initial promos had given me the same kind of “vibes” as the inventively brilliant BEING JOHN MALKOVICH (1999) had given me, and like BEING JOHN MALKOVICH this turns out to be a funny, though-provoking, inventive, imaginative and superbly conceived film laced with some terrific performances and above all a lethal story.
