EXCLUSIVE REVIEW BY ROHIT KOTHARI

Post Jhankar Beats super success the director Sujoy Ghosh disappointed the audience with Home Delivery and the downfall continues with Aladin.

Aladin (Reteish Deshmukh) an orphan lives in the city of Aladin. He is continuously troubled by Kasim and his gang since childhood, unless he meets Jasmine (Jacqueline Fernandez). Jasmine handles Aladin a magic lamp which lets loose genie The Genius (Amitabh Bachchan).

Genius is frenzied and curious to fulfil Aladin’s three wishes and finish his contract with the lamp. Genius troubles Aladin now-n-then, until he comes across the ex-genie The Ringmaster (Sanjay Dutt). The Ringmaster wants to misuse his powers and this can be achieved only after he kills Aladin. Thus begins the fight between the good (Genius) and the evil (Ringmaster).

Sujoy Ghosh terribly fails to live up to the viewer’s expectation. After a lightning start the movie takes a dunk. When the genie makes entry with a typical Bollywood song, one can easily make out the standard of the film. In spite of roping the talented actors and huge financial support, Sujoy Ghosh delivers an extremely below par flick. The film lacks the soul and the screenplay is awful. The visual effects are brilliant but only in few sequences of the film.

On the nothing goes in favour neither of the movie and nor of the audience. A complete waste of money, the movie is not worth your penny.
