Akshay Kumar may joke about Katrina Kaif being his lucky charm, but it seems everyone except her is unlucky for him.

So after a string of four flops, Akshay is hoping that his next film De Dhana Dhan with Katrina will shine at the box-office.

On most previous occasions, Akshay’s other co-stars have not worked for him. He delivered flops with Deepika Padukone, Ayesha Takia, Kareena Kapoor and Lara Dutta.

Akshay roped in Katrina for an eight-minute sequence in his latest film Blue. Despite just a guest appearance, Katrina went on to promote the film. But Blue did not work with the audience. Now, Akshay has signed a sequel to Blue, but with Katrina in the lead.

While Akshay is pinning his hopes on Katrina, problems may arise when she promotes her next movie Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani over De Dhana Dhan.

   btw, if DDD becomes a hit, how many hits will it be for Akshay-Katrina? wonder how many more hits they need together to outdo the hits from srk-kajol …

   crass can never outdo class….

   i think srk-kajol is unbeatable imo – probably a dev anand-madhubala in their hey days was comparable or gregory peck/cary grant – ingrid bergman

   btw, the title of Blue sequel has been fixed:

   “Hum Phir Se Dub Gaye”
