EXCLUSIVE REVIEW BY ROHIT KOTHARI
As the reel starts rolling, the stunts experienced are death defying. Adrenaline gushes all through the body and heart beat rise. An exhilarating underwater experience and top indentation action, this is what the movie Blue is all about.
Produced under the banner of Shree Ashtvinayak films Pvt. Ltd, the film marks the directorial debut for Anthony D’souza. This is claimed to be the costliest movie of the Industry and promises to have some stunts and action sequences never seen before in Bollywood.
The plot revolves around a ship called ‘Lady in Blue’ which lies in the beds of Pacific Ocean in Bahamas along with treasure worth millions. Aarav (Akshay Kumar) is the owner of Blue Fisheries and a successful rich person. For Aarav life is all about taking risk and exploring something dangerous. Sagar (Sanjay Dutt) is a content man and friend of Aarav. Sam (Zayed Khan) is a freaky guy full of attitude and has ultimate passion for bikes. Mona (Lara Dutta) plays the love interest of Sagar.
Aarav convinces Sagar and Sam for the treasure and the hunt begins. The movie experiences some amazing stunts and breath taking movements. The conversations between Akshay and Sanjay are very effective and well executed.
Action director James Bomalick has done great work, sound design by Resul Pookutty is high-class and direction is great. However the main drawback is the climax which lets the audience down.
Overall a decent venture and a complete paisa vasool movie. Go grab your ticket now!!!!!!
