wanted6 Ek baar jo maine commitment kar di…uske baad toh main khud ki bhi nahin sunta!

WANTED works and in a big way! I must say, I was skeptical about the film before it’s release. It could’ve gone 2 ways, either a total dud like the recent Bobby Deol starrer EK-THE POWER OF ONE, or turned in to a bonafide gem like Aamir Khan’s recent monster…thankfully WANTED hits all the right notes and tilts the movie in the right direction.

For a true blue masala film to really work, the audience has to completely connect and be in sync with the star and character to totally suspend belief as 10 men are killed in a matter of minutes in the most gruesome and violent ways. With GHAJINI, the love story worked in a huge way and people overlooked the violence factor. Here, the violence is presented in a totally different manner, the audience is hooked to the stylized “coolness” of the violence which Salman Khan turns in to an absolute art with Vijjayan’s mind-numbing stunts. And this is why the film works so well.

Agree with you 100 % Akshay Shah. I had given up on Salman but it seems that like before, when everyone gives up on him, he makes a comeback.

You review is very apt just like Joginder’s Lehren review.

I have been listening to Khanabadosh, Barso Yaaron, Shola Shola and Jashn Hai Jeet Ka since yesterday. Addictive soundtrack.
