   It seems all the three biggies (MNIK,3I and Kites) have fetched more or less the same price…

   Reliance Big Pictures acquires distribution rights of biggest blockbusters
   

   “Three Idiots and Kites– for a reported sum of around Rs 140 crore. Talks doing the rounds in movie circles put it that of late, the domestic distribution rights of Aamir Khan-starrer Three Idiots, directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, has been picked up for between Rs 40 crore and Rs 45 crore.

   In the same breath, ‘all rights’ of the much talked-bout Rakesh Roshan-produced and Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori starrer Kites has been lapped up in the region of Rs 90-95 crore”

   RKS- reliance Big Picture has opened its own multiplex here in Chicago-, the movies now have interval.
   I told my friend i will go ( coz it is kind of far ) only when they start offering Chai and Samosa during Innterval inside the cinema hall !! LOL !!

   40-45 cr domestic distribution price for 3I may be recoverable since its Aamir after Ghajini and Hriani after LRM … but still seems like a steep price.

   The all rights figure for 3I will likely to be in the 100 cr range now for all the 3 movies – Kites, 3I and MNIK.
