It’s a ‘dream’ compliment for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Bollywood’s original dreamgirl, Hema Malini, feels only Ash deserves the ‘dreamgirl’ tag among the new actresses.
“Whoever is on top is the dreamgirl. I feel it is Aishwarya,” said Hema on being asked about the new-age dreamgirl.
Hema believes an actress’s life is still the same. “It is what it was 20 years ago. They have to work hard, make themselves look beautiful and need a lot of dedication to remain at the top,” said Hema.
The yesteryear actress also says there is no need for a size-zero figure. “I was not a size-zero. You must have a flat stomach — not a pot belly — and a nice and beautiful face, at least a tolerable face, and you can be an actress,” she said.
Hema has signed two films — one with Nana Patekar with Deepa Sahi as director and the other with another producer — but the recession has put the films on hold.
“Otherwise I would have finished these two and they would have released by now,” she said.

But Kudos to those Reliance guys who talked about expected 175-200 crores ...

Nearing 35 is a painful time frame, both for men and women (most). Uske baad they both try to look hep/trendy. I have seen my collegues, who usually dressed in formal apparels, going more colourful.
Though Aishwarya is still very beautiful.
