Delhi Metro chief E Sreedharan resigns

(From what I’ve heard this guy is very honest)

E Sreedharan, managing director of the Delhi [Images] Metro Corporation,sent his resignation letter to the Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit citing ‘moral responsibility’ for the collapse of a metro pillar in which five persons were killed on Sunday.

   I guess this is the 2nd incident in one year when a bridge has collapsed.

   Well..Sreedharan is the one of the most efficient Project Managers in our country..Its sad that such tragic incident have happened…But i feel Sreedharan should stay (Which is more likely) else we’ll definitely miss the Commonwealth bus…

   Thankfully good sense prevailed and he may stay on.

   I agree with Tango and Raj. Quite frankly the media/public clamor about heads needing to roll that we often see in these situations is immature, and actually militates AGAINST real accountability. real accountability is about fixing problems, not resigning (with the corrupt or inefficient machinery still in place). I am more hopeful with Sreedharan in charge than if he had resigned.

   BTW aapki Rimi nehayat badi case in fact suitcase hai. Mere to upar se nikal gayee uski thinking.

   Magar theek hai aisa bhi koi hona chahiye.

   Talked to her regaeding Sankat City but at her own request I am not putting up anything.
