Despite the film’s Prakash Jha’ish feel, Anurag Kashyap leaves his indelible stamp all over Piyush Mishra’s soundtrack. Gulaal’s music is thoughtfully thematic, atmospheric and intricately layered – almost like a hinterland version of Dev.D!
