Thanks to rks for this. It is full of energy with all three leads in their element. Now I can’t wait for the film Abhi and Priyanka – buck up folks, your 2008 fortunes are about to change.
Typical Dharma stuff. I’ll still see this because of what looks like a lot of fun chemistry between John and Abhishek. It’s really got the latter in his comfort zone. Priyanka looks divine.
Goodfella: Agreed. I am normally not interested in this kind of film at all. But Abhishek is a factor and I must also admit that he and John do seem to have chemistry. If nothing else given that we’ve seen everything else with this genre (the same sorts of situations and so forth) at least the casting gives it freshness. And Abhishek hasn’t had the chance to do too much comedy and he does have the flair for it. Priyanka is right for the part but perhaps a more unusual heroine here would have given it even more freshness. Still we’re lucky we’re not seeing preity Zinta here!
Yeah Abhishek has a real knack for comedy. With the exception of a few (Yuva above all else) I think I in fact prefer him in lighter roles, though typically he’s versatile enough to work in a good spectrum of stuff (fantasy aside, apparently).

I just realized that I usually dislike John because of his beefed up body that is always only partly clothed. Covered up he is one good-looking man
