Swashbuckling opener Virender Sehwag has tipped India to win 3-1 against Australia if the four-Test series, starting October 9 in Bangalore, is played on spin-friendly tracks.

“If we are playing on spin-friendly tracks, the series might be in our favour 3-1,” Sehwag told CNN-IBN on Monday.

  1. Hope so. This is unofficially the best series in the calendar.

  2. Yeah, Jay! Hope it doesn’t do a Drona :P

  3. Given India’s very average home record (they tied 1-1 with England and SA; in the last two test series against pakistan at home, they tied 1-1 and won 1-0), I find it very hard to believe they will win 3-1. I hope so, but doubt it. I’ll take a win — whatever the margin.

  4. they have a chance aussies spin attack is very weak this time

  5. Sehwag should keep his aims in reachable range.

What about making 200 runs in the whole series with a average better than 35 and not lose the series to Aussies?
