The media has the propensity of blowing every thing out of proportion especially when it is against SRK.What is the big deal if Akki dethrones SRK? Is the numero uno position designed only for SRK?
SRK has been there for long and is still around while Akki is only about to get just a whiff.Let the position change hands or keep rotating so that actors can be dilligent.It makes no odds if Akki managed to occupy the top spot for a short time as he too should have his own success stories to relate to his grandchildren.Right now the dynamics of bollywood have changed and any star who thinks he should reign forever needs his head examined.
But the fact remains Akki has a long way to go to be considered a serious contender for the top spot.The reason being the genre of his choices.Even if he becomes numero uno, people will not hold him in high esteem.He has to be more versatile, he should take risks and venture into unknown territories.A media-made king is just a KINNG which is a replica of a virtual king.Akshay has to get real to be accepted or considered. Do not sit on your oars Akki!

As long as these articles talk about “dethroning SrK”, he should be happy.. Srk should only start worrying once them start talking about X dethroning somebody else.. (Hrithik, Aamir, Akshay wagera vagera…)
