Hope this doesn’t affect the film’s opening! Of course storylines in the comic book universe are hardly original and rely on various mythic stereotypes. But yes I do wish this film had as original a storyline as Krrish did.

Drona is nowhere near an exact lift of Azrael’s story or the character. There seems to be only bits of pieces inspired or based on that comic. There also seems to be some of the Star Wars jedi plot roped into to Drona’s story as well. Goldie has come out and said this in a recent interview. So what’s the ruckus? That is nothing new or out of order as nothing is new under the sun. Every movie has been based on or inspired by other previous movies, books, and characters that have preceded it. Being that nothing is new under the sun. It is how the writer and director has presented the movie. And how well they have put across a new dynamic for the movie and characters. It’s seeing a new spin on the same age old plots that are continually perpetuated in movies. Drona will be based as being a good movie on how well the movie has been written, directed, and acted.

jean-paul valley = worst character of the 90’s, up there with 90’s wolverine (which was not good wolverine)
