Terminator Salvation: T4

So 4th installment of Terminator series is set to make its foray on the silver screen. I think Christian Bale, is a perfect actor to play John Connor, and an adequate replacement of Arnie as the poster boy of the series. Not just as a biggest bonafide  action star, but even as a fine actor, he should do well.

Oh BTW, just came to know, This movie will be set in different world (future world) than the previous 3, its gonna be first of the trilogy of the final conflict between men and the machines ;)

You know what it means??? Christian Bale is again trusted with the responsibility of getting a dead series back to life. As he did with Batman, which was all but virtually washed over by Clooney’s exploits (of all people), can he do that again with Terminator series?

    It will be damn easy to resurrect the franchise that gave us as dumb a movie as T3!

    But it will be challenge to create the magic of the first two movies.

    And anyone wud be a better replacement to the guy who played Connor in T3 … Bale is a far superior choice and wud do very well imo.

    But it wud mean Bale is going to be part of two series simultaneously … from an actor with cult following to the man of Blockbusters … quite a career path he has cyrved out for himself!

    Yeah … after T3 debacle … we need a Batman Begins/ Casino Royale kind of relaunch … this will be good … Terminator meets Matrix background … room for more innovations in screenplay and effects.

    Bring it on!

    Arnie was horrible in T3, Bale is a perfect replacement, as he even looks like him at times.

    Though I agree that McG is a big big concern. Nothing in his resume makes us feel confident on him.

    But it met with a tremendous applause from the entire hall during the screening of TDK when it was shown. People suddenly forgot that they came to see TDK and instantly started talking about it. So this trailer caught the imagination of everyone, hopefully Bale does Batman Begins to it.

    Don’t think bale is replacing arnie here , he isn’t playing terminator i believe !

    & on arnie, well that guy is irreplaceable when it comes to the terminator series.

    Kunal … Bale is not a replacement to the Terminator role … he is just going to be the man who leads the fight against machines … and hell … with Connor grown up… a terminator is no longer needed to protect him.

    Its now Man vs Machines.

    I know that Achillies, but Bale has replaced Arnie in a way that Bale would now be the new poster boy for Terminator.

    I understand that he is John O’Connor, but now the movie will revolve around him as it used to around Arnie.
