Evoked so many memories of yesteryear masala.....TASHAN as a WHOLE fails....but there are individual sequences that have been so impeccably and masterfully executed that it's hard to deny them.....and in a weird sense "made" the movie work for me. IN essence, TASHAN works more than RGV KI AAG does though both tried to do similar things in some ways... Anyways..more in my full review! Yes it was horribly wrong in parts, but Acharya's vision, and underlying symbolism can't just be dismissed IMO.... The movie also features one of the massiest performances i've seen in recent actors from any actor, period...Bachchan Panday! BTW the weakest link here was Anil..lol...Sorry Sheeru but man he hammed more than SRK has in his entire LIFE!!!!! A terrible performance...I preferred him in RACE to this!
