    1. Rajasthan Royals because it’s the only team from the BIMARU states. ;) or Mumbai Indians because I am a resident of MAharashtra.

    2. Delhi Dare-Devils because they have the most well balanced squad IMO.

    Deccan Chargers

    It has the best batting lineup,particularly the one which suits 20-20.

    1- Kolkata Night Riders as i happen to be fan of both Ganguly and SRK.

    2- Decan chargers as they have some really good 20-20 players in the squad, the bating line up is expecially very strong.

    hyd doesnt have any Icon player.
    Initilly they wanted Laxman to be an icon player but later on realized that it is not financially viable.
    And it turned out to be good for them as they bought Symonds.
    however it is to be seen whether ,symonds is worth the money afterall.

    A team can only have 4 international players, so it is a tough call to select the team for Hyderabad.

    Symonds,Gilchrist,Vaas,Gibbs should be their first choices.
    This means we will see very little of afridi.

    Yaar yeh Deccan Chargers team bhi kaafi acchi hai. Hmmm, if they play well initially I might start supporting them as I have lived for few years in Hyderabad too. ;)

    I have heard some members of the Mumbai IPL team have been given special training classes to learn Marathi and Pollock is turning out to be a fast learner!! :P

    btw - thats the only team where you will get free beer if they win ;-)

    as to the best team - its a toss up between Chennai and Hyderabad this year but I give Chennai the edge because of Dhan Dhana Dhan..Dhan Dhana Dhan…Dhoni!

    and satyam is planning one to change their name to Mumbai lynchers or Mumbai Barbarians. after all Hrithik is the ambassador na :-)

    btw - any bangaloreans interested in going for a game. if there is enough interest - we can do some free marketing for NG ;-)

    Excuse me beld bhai, there is only one Royalty in IPL, Rajasthan Royals. Royal Challengers just wants to challenge the Royals. ;)

    will support Banglore just for Dravid . Chennai , hyderabad has strongest squad but there may be problem as only 4 will be allowed to play .

    Times Now is reporting that IPL tickets sales in Kolkata has been lukewarm. Only 5000 of the 70,000 tickets were sold on the first day. I am not surprised given that the Knight Riders campaign has been the most aimless and pointless of the lot.
