Filmmaker Anees Bazmi has become a sequel king of sorts. Ever before his film Welcome hits the theatres, Bazmi has already announced the sequel to the film titled Welcome 2.
This will make Bazmi the first director in the history of Bollywood to direct not one or two but three sequels. And indeed, Bazmi knows it well. The writer-director Anees Bazmi, who is currently shooting for Singh is King at Mumbai’s Mehboob Studios confirms the news.
He says, “The response to Welcome has been overwhelming even before its release and hence the sequel. Besides this I will also be directing sequels to No Entry and Phir Hera Pheri.”

Dint realise he was directing hera pheri sequal too.
Side not – Dont know if many have seen Anees’s delayed movie with Govinda called sandwich. It has a total 90’s feel. and those who enjoy Govinda movies will like it.
