The Best Picture(Drama) category has 7 noms(!) although while the first five were named in alphabetical order, the final italicised two were named later…making one wonder. As it stands, I’m only gonna consider the first five as the official nominees.
Similarly, in the Best Foreing Film category, I’m not gonna consider The Kite Runner and The Diving Bell And The Butterfly as the former is an American production while the latter is a joint production. Anyhow, both these films have already been deemed ineligible for the Oscars.

7 best pic nods seems like an indian award show trying to make everyone happy. a total of 12 best pic nods if you include the other best pic category.
kite runner foreign film?
it seems like whenever there’s a british historical it gets a boat load of nominations.
i’m suprised by only 1 nominations for assisination of jesse james and no nominations for in to the wild.
i think javier bardem will win supp. actor, even though tom wilkinson was good too and phillip seymor hoffman’s prob good too. cate blanchatt will win supp. actress. i hope daniel day lewis and tom hanks get the best actor. but the best actor nods r all pretty good. i just hope they dont give it to washington…even though he was good i think from the movies i’ve seen off the list the others were better and have a feeling lewis is gonna b the best for the year.
