Mithun in CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA?

Director Nikhil Advani’s next project after KAL HO NA HO (2003) and SALAAM-E-ISHQ (2007), CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA has been in the news, even before the canning of its first shot. First of all it has ‘Khiladi’ Kumar returning back to his forte, martial arts and breathtaking action, apart from him riding high on four back-to-back successes. Moreover, it has the hot new sensation and woman of the moment, Deepika Padukone as the leading lady, and that right after the blockbuster success of her debut film, OM SHANTI OM.

With so many exciting names, the project gets hotter with the buzz that yesteryear superstar, ‘Disco Dancer’, Mithun Chakraborthy (after making a successful comeback with LUCKY-NO TIME FOR LOVE and GURU), will also essay an important role in the movie.

While on CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA, the makers have been on a name changing spree. As may be recalled, the first title was MERA NAAM CHIN CHIN CHOO, which later became MADE IN CHINA and finally (as of the moment!) it’s CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA.
