Marriage is recommended to all: Aishwarya

NEW DELHI: It seems newly wed Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is enjoying herself completely, as the Bollywood actor strongly recommends the institution of marriage to everyone.
“I am a happy girl, can’t you make out?” beamed Aishwarya.
“Marriage is a beautiful chapter in life. It is so blissful and wonderful…in fact difficult to articulate. I strongly recommend it to everyone. Each one of us must experience it,” she said on Wednesday.
“Everybody was teasing me when I came here to celebrate ‘karva chauth’. But I said I have to experience it,” she added.
The actress, who won the Miss World pageant in 1994 and started her stint in the Hindi film industry with ‘Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya,’ was in the capital to unveil the bridal collection of watch brand Longines.
She got married to Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan on Feb 20, 2007.
Commenting on the response of people after her marriage she said: “Wherever we have travelled, people have showered us with their blessing. I am bowled over by their response and very strongly feel that we are a part of an extended family.”
However, Aishwarya said she hasn’t spent much time with her family.
“Our honeymoon was our first holiday and after that we were straight back to work. I wish I could have taken more time off. I would love to spend every minute of the day with Abhishek.”
Being a workingwoman the actress agrees that marriage brings a lot of responsibilities and one has to juggle up too many things.
“I am enjoying every aspect of being married. But frankly telling being a workingwoman it is more hectic now. There is a constant race against time. I could never imagine that my hours and days would be so full.”
“Although I have found the key to it – time management. It is imperative for every working individual to discover the ability of time management. You have to take time out for your maternal family, in-laws and for your own (husband-wife) relationship at the same time.”
After her lead roles in hits like ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam,’ ‘Devdas,’ ‘Dhoom 2′ and ‘Guru’, she is now all set to woo audiences in ‘Sarkar Raj,’ ‘Pink Panther 2′ and ‘Jodhaa Akbar’.

Perhaps pregnant or perhaps not. Aishwarya has packed on some weight. And constantly uses her arms, hands, belts, flowers, dupatta’s, etc. to cover her tummy region. So I think she is either pregnant or has just gained alot of weight which has her a bit conscious about the weight gain.
ILG 5 December 2007

I find it hard to make slacious comments about Ash now that she is someone’s biwi. But in general a little bit(right amount) of meat is good on a woman.Otherwise you feel like you are rubbing bones to light a fire!

Yes, it’s good for women to not be skin and bones. LOL
Fari, I did not mean to make it sound as if Aishwarya is real heavy or fat. LOL
She looked gorgeous in the pix. It’s just that the pix, ect. really brought out Aishwarya’s weight gain in her face and body. So she’s either pregnant or just has gained weight from happiness due to her marriage. Whatever the case, I’ve just notived that she seems a bit more self conscious. Thanks for the video. She looks so happy with her life.

Yeah I think she’s been living the good life for a while. The pregnancy thing seems doubtful only because there’s a concert planned next year. And she seems to be working otherwise. or she might be trying to match a heavier Abhishek!
rks 5 December 2007

Normally you don’t find any visible weight gain till 3 months (some women actually lose weight due to acute morning sickness). Main weight gain starts around 5th month…Normally people wait till end of 3rd month to declare the pregnancies…

Well Aishwarya was completely excluded from the recent One Amazing Night publicity article. Neither Subhash or Amitabh mentioned her which I found odd. In a quote Amitabh stated it would only be him, Abhishek, and other Hindi celebs. That left me doubtful about her still being apart of the tour as there was really no reason to exclude her in the article when she never in regards to the tour in the past. If she is pregnant fine and if she is not that’s fine as well. I’m glad she seems so happy with her marriage and lot these days. Weight gain or not she’s a beautiful woman.

LOL…Tania on a roll already
.
Although even I find such language(language!..not the sentiment) uncalled for, her words are indeed pretty tame in comparison to what we’re used to..courtesy–ahem ahem..??
Beld–I did not enjoy it. The problem with AN was not that it was a bad movie as such. The problem with AN was always gonna be–how many people would want to catch it in the theaters. As it turns out..not many. And the ones who did go and catch it were ardent Madhuri fans and a few families inclined towards musicals/dances. There’s no reasons why a Madhuri fan would say bad things about her comeback movie, and for the others it’s ‘reverence’ again
. I didn’t enjoy it, neither did my wife..and we’re both Madhuri fans, wife’s also a dancer…so yeah//Madhuri was excellent here, but the movie…nah! not so much.

Tania: agreed that you have the liberty to express your views here, but dont you think you can still express your opinions without using any kinda offensive langauages?you may severly dislike/hate Abhishek, but ridiculing him and aish to the every possible extent with the extensive use of those offensive words wont do any good.

you know bro, i am always against someone ridiculing and making fun of a certain star whom he/she hates.its never been a part of my behaviour.if you want to critize a certain star, critize his/her films, performances but getting personal wont serve any purpose IMO.
Achilles 6 December 2007
12:09:07 am
on the contrary som – everything one says and writes is always just a personal point of views … tania or anyone’s remark on ash/abhishek/whoever is only just as much personal as the way some people are finding it personally offensive.
need_salvation 6 December 2007
12:19:18 am
agreed bro, that was a personal remark from Tania, but cant we guys make comments relating to films only?why should we make any assumptions to what Aish found in Abhishek that she married him?whether Abhishek looks like a overfed bull or not, etc.etc. i guess its none of our business.
Achilles 6 December 2007
12:32:34 am
now u r getting personal abt it som – look the comments are made at people who have chose to be actors in showbiz … they are larger than life figures … the public has equal rite to call them a greek god or a overfed bull … thats normal … if praises are ok then so are criticisms (but are POVs afterall) …
as for comments on ash-abhi marraige … after all that hulaboo arnd it … its normal (not personal) in prasing/criticising it or anything related to it … its their choice that they live their life in such limelight rather than maintain an Aamir like reclusivity (but even then he isnt spared at times).
fame always has a price tag attached to it.
need_salvation 6 December 2007

‘fame always has a price tag attached to it’
yep. Being a famous celeb has many pitfuls but would take those with all the plusses that come with it. The worst part of being a celeb for me (if I was one lol) would be that I cannot walk into my local corner shop without being mobbed, or walk in the park and just normal things like this!
Tania great entry and generally agree with your points regarding Aish/Abhi and too much media coverage. Its a bore after a while. But its what happens with big celebrity couples. Media loves to picture them and it sells. And it will only get more excessive when a baby is due. I use to hate the constant media glare on the Beckhams and other celeb couples. Its all demand and supply, and as long as someone reads it or buys it the media will continue to print it. Maybe the Bachchans can say ‘don’t take any pictures’ but can imagine the result of that straight away !!!

For every movie she says, “Its a wonderful experience” .. “It has been wonderful working in this film”, “Director/Actor has been a wonderful friend” and of course “its a privilege to be working with director/ costar”
Everything for Aish is a wonderfully privileged …

‘Ash is irritating and fake, no doubt about it.’
Yep…I’ve found her to be profoundly fake since Bride and Prejudice. I don’t like the way she interviews. She’s very irritable and not direct/honest. She misses the Mads touch. I guess the only spunk in the front line actresses is Kareena. I find Preity a little fake (a good samaritan type) and Rani too bland (her TRRP interview was dreadful…she said ‘its about love’ abut 20times). But don’t mind Rani because its just she is a little boring. Anyway this is from just interviewing style perspective.
nithi_s 6 December 2007
01:36:44 am
Yes, Rani is very boring too. At least not as irritating as Mrs. Poo …
sandy 6 December 2007
01:39:43 am
By comparison, Madhuri personifies feminity, warmth and class. I was particularly irritated when I saw a clipping some months back where Big B was announcing their world tour and everyone from Ritesih to Lara to Bips to of course Ash-Abhi were present on stage.
Abhishek was standing in between Ash and Lara and it appeared a bit childish for Ash to keep cooing into his ears and Abhi moving towards her constantly, ignoring Lara.
No matter how much you are in love (it appear more like show-off to me), you just cannot make another woman uncomfortable like that.
nithi_s 6 December 2007
01:40:08 am
I liked Madhuri in her recent TV interviews — though she was a little high-nosed, as though she really beleived that she was on the top of her career when she left. After all, she was once the Mallika Sherawat of old times …

Ash needs to stop gushing about her marriage and get on with life. The media asks her these questions precisely because she’s more than happy to speak about it and in fact, it suits her well.
As for Abhishek, he seems to have lost all focus from his career after marriage. He’s on his way to becomming another Fardeen Khan afer marriage. The latter, as one would know, has never recovered from his honeymoon.

Sorry to say but met very few women who wouldn’t do the same in that situation. In fact men do it aswell. You could say its insecurity or whatever, but its also a natural reaction I think. Maybe its showing off, but part of it is saying ’s/he is mine’ !!!

Anway, I don’t find anything wrong with Aishwarya. She’s beautiful, successful and the way she behaves is actually the only way she can. Miss World cum Bacchan bahu, I mean one can’t expect her to be as forthcoming and blunt as a Kareena. But yeah, she could do without a bit of that plasticity. As for Abhishek, hmmmm…I don’t find him all that bad. But then, I’m not a woman, so Tania and Nithya would know better
jayshah 6 December 2007

nithi comparing Malaika and Mads is ridiculous. Anything rauncy or even risky Mads did was done in a classy way ! That’s always been her appeal. She was always beautiful and never stepped over the line by doing too much. Elegant and classy and at times sexy. Just cannot be compared to other actresses. Rani is the closest comparison by all accounts.

Its not a syndrome. Its partially jealousy and protectiveness. I think it’s a natural reaction to some, maybe some do it intentionally (maybe what Sandy is getting at) but don’t know if that can be the conclusion here. I am sorry to say but if I had a gorgeous woman next to me as my wife and Hrithik was couple of metres away I’d be marking my territory !!! Just a gentle reminder that even though Hrithik’s a mate, he’s got no chance here. Don’t even think about buddy. She is all mine !!!

jayshah,
Mads to Mallika ridiculous? I know that not many will agree with me. ‘Ek To Deen’, ‘Dhak Dhak’ and ‘Choli Ke Peeche kya hai’ were infamously popular songs as far I remember.
I don’t think those songs were hit due to classy audiences who loved dancing … Those were the raunchiest songs of those times. Compared the present day item numbers, they can be termed decent …
Mallika might end up being fondly remembered as classy actress after a few years … You never know what could happen.

Jay- Didn’t know you’re a Scorpio? Most of my friends are either Scorpios, Geminis, Sagittarians or Leos. Most of the women I find interesting and attractive are Scorpios and Geminis. In fact, I’ve yet to have an affair(physical, emotional or intellectual) with a woman that’s not a Gemini or Scorpio! It’s never premeditated, but these things strangely happen all the time. I like the idea of falling in love Geminis, Saagis and Areas..all these sun signs have traits I really love.
Geminis- sparkling intelligence, quick-wittedness, mercurial
Saagis -emotional, generous, funloving yet sharp-tongued
Areas – warm, impulsive, protective
Not that I don’t appreciate traits in other sun signs.
Taureans -level-headedness, strong sense of commitment
Pisces – sensitive, deep thinkers, great listeners (that’s Qutie for you)
Aquarians: deeply passionate, dreamers

Actually following Capricorns, Virgos is my least favourite sun sign. I’m a bit intimidated by their perfectionist streak, though I do admire some of their traits. For one, they are extremely sincere and earnest in whatever they do. And you won’t find a neater cupboard or desk than a Virgo’s. Basically, I like my space, so this could be a hurdle.

Guys, you haven’t loved till you’ve loved a Gemini or a Scorpio woman. Believe me, these relationships never plateau…they always keep you on the edge, making you ‘earn’ it than merely ‘live’ it.
On an aside, most of my experiences with Virgos has been bad. They come across as extremely pessimistic and easily depressed kind. I cannot allow such negativity around me. Taureans are too bull-headed to be around, but can be great leaders too(I’ve served under my school crikcet captain and now my political leader and both are Taureans).

I like Pasupathy, Surya, Vikram, Madhavan, Bharath, Jeeva, and the whole lot who offer good products. However, “Vel” is something unexpected from Surya, just as I didn’t expect a “Bheema” from Vikram. The latter looked stylish but it’s taking forever to release. Madhavan has “Evano Oruvan” at last. “Abzee girl I want is Scorpian”
jay: just go through this:
Only time will tell whether these two have what it takes to have a lasting love. Be aware that you both have a strong need to control your partner. This is where potential problems could arise. Possessiveness is also another area that could create problems. You could learn fascinating things from this other Scorpio so think about keeping them as a friend if the romance doesn’t work out.
A real love or hate thing. It can work out very well, though, with each of you almost reading the other’s mind. These two people who are so much alike understand each other very little. They are highly jealous and demanding. Both are sulky, brooding and possessive. Both are in a continual struggle to force the other to relinquish control.
Ravi 6 December 2007
07:43:24 am
I don’t know about you guys but I do not give too much credence to the star signs. Each of these guys or gals are individuals with different patterns and temperaments and we need to adjust or go by accordingly.

Yes, Scorpians can be highly vindictive, jealous and possessive. And they rarely forgive or forget.
IN that sense, an Aquarian, Geminine or Libra are more forgiving and accepting of other’s flaws. People under these sun signs are temperamental but they seldom hold a grudge for long. Being air signs, there’s a certain elusiveness is all their relationships.

The Scorpio person is passionate, powerful, penetrating, intense, determined, compelling, purposeful, keenly perceptive, brave, deep, complex, analytical, inquisitive, sensual, resourceful, ambitious, magnetic, hypnotic, creative, intriguing, profound, loyal, supportive, protective, generous, humble, quiet, and encompassing.
The Scorpion can be prone to cunning, suspicion, compulsiveness, aggressiveness, jealousy, tenacious, unreliability, deviousness, paranoia, mistrusting, competitiveness, cruelty, manipulative, quick-tempered, possessiveness, obsessive, angry and controlling.

Arun and this woudl be true for all the other unmarried people at NG.
Enjoy your bachelorhood as much as you can because this is a time where you typically do not have any responsibilities and cares , you can enjoy in different ways and anything and everythign is good as long as it is in moderation and does not take to the extremes(Abzee can take his with some protection) because once you are married slowly and steadily things change and once kids come that is it, you will stop living your life for yourself and it is more for the family and the kids but you enjoy doing so and I do not have regrets but so don’t waste time.
Gotta go to the gym hit some weights and will be back in an hour or so.

Ravi, you make it sound like I’m some cad. Far from that! I don’t even look like one. But yes, I’ve had my share of seriously heavy realtionships, and believe me the ones that don’t go to the bed are the more interesting ones.
BTW, I reiterate my point about Gemini and Scorpio women. I guess I’m a part-sadist, but there’s nothing like a relationship that is constantly volatile. There needs to be friction
(Jay, IGL…you guys are welcome to read that last sentence any which way you wish!)
abzee 6 December 2007

Besides, there’s nothing better than a woman who stimulates and challenges you emotionally and intellectually. The physical aspect automatically gets better. And there’s no better women than Scorpios for emotional stimualation and none better for intellectual challenge than a Gemini. I speak from experience. Virgo women make the most depressing partners(I’m sorry if there’s a Virgo woman here).

“And there’s no better women than Scorpios for emotional stimualation and none better for intellectual challenge than a Gemini”
Abzee bhai, from my own experience, Libran women rule the roost in both cases. Geminis are just too sweet to put up a challenge in any which way, not that they can’t, but that they won’t. Scorpions, yeah…they can get pretty fiesty, not my type though. Geminis can be sweet pals, they can be good soulmates too, if you believe in such a thing. For pure stimulation..I always find Librans and Capris much more of a challenge.

Sunny: There’s nothing “unbelievable” about it. I just don’t believe in the general idea of getting married to sustain a relationship. As individuals who live with each other (emotional or/and physical, etcetra), I don’t think this whole system of marriage should define a “meaningful” relationship as such, or is beyond the concerned individuals. However, to withstand in a relationship, there must be a freedom of thought than a social construct. BTW, I speak of “marriage” in pure social terms. Let’s not get into the nuptial ceremonies as per religion as such. I’m not speaking in an objective sense in any case.

Rks,
I don’t think such obligations should superimpose at the end of the day. However, as a practical self-controlling measure, it’s recommended to get married. Conversely, living together without such holds is fragile, and needs “maturity” as you said. With such “maturity”, the relationship would be more rewarding.
[I haven't had a meaningful relationship as yet. One could very well reject my argument off ("what would a virgin know about orgasm?") But hey, I'm deconstructing and self-debating for a while now. I'm a nihilist in general. I also know the insignificance of my stance in such matters]
abzee 6 December 2007
09:51:54 pm
Floyd- I agree with you on your take on marriage. I feel the same way about it. Don’t need no social license to live with someone, and neither dos it promise any longevity. Much rather prefer live-in, and I’ve had one live-in relationship as well. I do disagree on certain things though, but don’t have the time to write about them now. Marriage should be a step in progression, not the inititation of a relationship.
abzee 6 December 2007
09:54:59 pm
”what would a virgin know about orgasm?”
What’s virginity got to do with orgasm? Women will attest, most men don’t have a clue how to get a woman to orgasm. Women have to rely on themselves sadly. Virgin or not, apna haath jagannath!

Abzee, I’m not against a live-in relationship and agree with your last sentence that marriage can be a step in progression to it. But my argument is that if two people are intensely in love, what’s the harm in signing a piece of legal paper? Also, I don’t know how much it means to a man but to a woman, some kind of a social sanctioning to her relationship is very important and reassuring. I’m saying this in the context of present-day living only, since we do not have a workable alternative to marriage at the moment and societal pressure can tell on the most solid of relationships.
Sunny 6 December 2007

Disagree Abzee bhai…that’s complete ‘loser’ talk. God has given you a mouth…use it[now don't get wrong meanings from this
]
. As for men, who are supposedly “modern”, well read, well educated blah blah blah…if they don’t know how to satisfy their women…LOL…why did the women choose them in the first place? Medical problems are of course an exception to this mockery.
What I mean to say, why attest to some third person that your man can’t satisfy you. Can’t you speak, can’t you say..’hey look. I want this!’. Clues won’t just spring out from the ground, so for the challenged sort(men), women have to speak
Sunny 6 December 2007
10:37:40 pm
ON marriage–Unless I got it all wrong uptill now, we were talking about love marriages here..weren’t we? So of course, it’s a step in progression….how can it be initiation?
Social sanctioning etc mean nothing to me. I got married coz I wanted to have grand singing ceremonies, wear expensive costumes, see my bride in her most beautiful avatar ever, sing, dance, have fun with my parents, relatives, friends..get to know and relate to so many more people I nver knew of. Her parents, sisters, brothers, chachas, chachis…so on and so forth. So that’s what it is, a grand celebration which everyone should have atleast once in his/her lifetime. You can choose not to, but you’d be missing on a lot!!! trust me

“Also, I don’t know how much it means to a man but to a woman, some kind of a social sanctioning to her relationship is very important and reassuring”
Agree with you Sandy. Almost every woman will vouch for the fact that they look out for security which is also why more than half the female population in our country gets married in the first place.
Sunny: What you say is more to do with the priviledged bracket of the society. Calling on people for your marriage is also like a social affirmation though your reasons may have been diffrent. However for most society plays a pivotal role.
FloydRulez 6 December 2007

Sunny bhai, About “marriage” as a socializing event, as much as a proclamation – Agreed.
Sunny 6 December 2007
11:00:23 pm
Sash–it’s not about the priviledged bracket. So ok, maybe there won’t be designer lehngas or Sherwaanis, maybe not the most excquisite of cuisine, but you can still enjoy the frivolity of it all with you near and dear ones, I mean that’s the whole point of it all. As for my reasons for marriage…well..apart from wanting to be together for the rest of our lives, some of the material benefits(I’m a sucker for gifts..lol)** and the fact that I could laugh and enjoy with the remotest of my relatives and friends..there isn’t much I can think of.
**She ended up getting the majority of the gifts though

Glad you agree Floyd bhai
FloydRulez 6 December 2007
11:02:57 pm
On the hindsight though, if one doesn’t get along with the other, the relationship breaks up. The social setup is too misaligned to think of it as a ego-drop, and as Sash says, it’s the Society which pivots the “self”, and your actions more. In a Freudian world, I believe that there’s no “self” in a real sense of the word, it’s a social construct. I’m debating the rejection of this construct in the institution of marriage. Not that I vouch for individualism at all times.
Sash 6 December 2007
11:07:06 pm

Just got back from Dus Kahaniyan with Rohit. Amazing set of thoughts here since my last comment.
Sandy- I understand how marriage can/does mean ’security’. My beef is with the ‘credibility’ of that supposition. In other words, how is something ’security’ when it isn’t ’secured’? That said, live-in relationships are equally insecure, if not more. I guess I’m just cyncial about the institution, and besides I’m a hopeless romantic…so love without definition and boundaries for me.
Sunny- My folks ran away and had a registrar marriage with just two friends for witnesses, and tell you what they don’t regret not having the whole shaadi-baraat shebang one bit. In fact, now that they look back at it, they feel its money saved! But yes, I know how the ‘idea’ of getting married and the actual ‘occassion’ can be just as romantic to someone as eloping. And I say amen to that.
It’s just that I’m not cut out for marriage. Or maybe, I haven’t met someone who’s made me wanna settle down(hint…!) And the one who could’ve, I let slip away. It’s always about the one that got away, isn’t it?
jayshah 7 December 2007
02:14:23 am
I’m for rks’ comment
‘Relationship without obligations is bound to fail at some point, unless involved individuals are mature enough to handle the turbulences in journey’
Although I wouldn’t say its ‘bound to fail at some point’…
‘how is something ’security’ when it isn’t ’secured’?’
Security is more a feeling.
Anyway the pro’s and con’s of marriage vs live in relationships are all down to individuals and no fixed formula. Would think though that the two partners are on at least on the same page. All that matters in the end. If one wants marriage and the other doesn’t thats a problem.
I’m very pro marriage anyway. Nothing to do with all the vows and all that, its just the feeling of commitment, obligation (like rks put it) and responsibility. Of course I’d be the same if not married and in a live in relationship, but something about ‘being married’ guess just adds little bit more of commitment for me personally.

Akshay- Nice to have you back. तुझसे एक शिकवा हमेशा रहेगा। जिस दिन तुमने Sandy से सुला कर ली, उस दिन अफ़सोस, हमारी कट्टी हो गई।
About Dus Kahaniyan, me and Rohit were quite disappointed. This actually makes Darna Mana Hai look like a masterpiece. That said, three stories stood out.
Sanjay Dutt and Suniel Shetty’s ‘Rise And Fall’ was the most cinematic of all, although some would say it was all style no substance. But this was Sanjay Gupta territory, and it was pure masala(including a throwback to the 70s in the manner in which two young kids come to Mumbai and become goons).
The Mahesh Manjrekar and Neha Dhupia ‘Strangers In The Night’ was an unexpectedly good story. I’ll delineate in my review why this particular short subverts all that Sanjay Gupta stands for, and what’s more he does it himself. Talk about self-therapy!
The best of the lot, and by a huge margin, is the Nana Patekar starrer ‘Gubbare’. Written by Gulzar, this short belongs in a diferent film and is in a league apart from the others. Nana is natural to the core, and you’ve gotta see his acting here. His is the only character you really feel for. The others are all poorly developed.
The worst stories are the Aftab starrer ‘Lovedale’, the Arbaaz ‘Matrimony’ and the Dino Morea starrer ‘Sex On The Beach’. The Amrita Singh ‘Puranmashi’ and Jimmy Shergill ‘High On The Highway’ are atmosphere driven films, but they unfortunately end as twisted morality tales.
And oh boy, the Manoj Bajpai ‘Zahir’ starts off on such a brilliant note, but ends in the silliest of fashions. It’s like a bad joke told with all seriousness. Manoj is in fine form though.
Which brings us to the Naseer-Shabana ‘Rice Plate’. This story has its moments, but it is also very problematic(this is the only short which raises social and political issues). Shabana overacts as a South Indian(completely out of sorts), but Naseer is damn good in what must be a 15 second role minus any dialogues!

‘This thread will beat the best of soap operas. Isme action hai, emotion hai, romance hai, drama hai, aur phir romance hai…’
picture abhi baki hai dost – we still have re-incarnation angle and revenge angle to come…we’ll find out soon that Satyam is Abzee, Abzee is Qalander and Qalander is Satyam – three brothers confused by their identities and birth names confused. We are missing a song…I guess the ampt one here is ‘Yeh dosti hum nahin todenge Todenge dam magar tera saath na chhodenge’…for more reasons then one

Sandy- Aapne toh mujhe ghayal kar diya! And I don’t mean that in the bar-twisting Sunny Deol way, either.
Jay- Go ahead, puke at my lines mate. You’re gonna need me to get ‘lucky’ in Goa and Kerala. And remember, you’re still the one who watched Dosti! Muhahahahahahaha! BTW, your synopsis vis-a-vis me, Qalandar, Satyam is awesome. I’m actually gonna start writing a script on those lines.
Aarohi- Akshun, emoshun and romanch, yehi toh naachgaana hai.

Oh btw, completely forgot to tell you guys. Rohit saw OSO last night(Sandy, I wanted to see Aaja Nachle, but he insisted on OSO) and he found it a well-directed but forced film. He thinks this was vintage Shahrukh, but the humour was flat for the most part. He might put up his review once he gets back to the US.
BTW, the attendance was almost 60%!

By the way why are there are so many marriage counselors here all of a sudden? I note that the unmarried ones are bravest with their advice..! In any case why is this thread turning conservative?
I’d introduced adultery here!
On Sunny’s point of women simply having to open their mouths (talk about puns, intended and unintended!) to proclaim the lack of sexual pleasure.. well if beggars were horses…. (couldn’t resist this myself!)

On marriage,Love…:
You would rarely find an everlasting love (I would say ‘Love is fleeting’) in a relationship. The love needs to transform into care, respect, trust for sustained relationship.
ps: Only couple I know who have been successful in this respect, without bonds are Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn.
