Hrithik Roshan, who takes pride in studying bound scripts and complete screenplays before signing a film, has now gone ahead and accepted a film, which is a joint collaboration between Eros International and Carving Dreams Motion Pictures, without a script.
The producers have not even roped in a director for this big-budget film, which is scheduled to hit the floors next year. A source from Eros International informs, “It is true that for the first time Hrithik has signed a film without going through the script or speaking to the director.â€
The buzz going around is that the actor is getting impatient after he finished shooting Jodha Akbar which releases early next year. At the moment, he has no films in his kitty.
Trade pundits indicate that even the most seasoned of actors has fears of being left without a film in hand and Hrithik is possibly having the same jitters. Hence, the actor has bid goodbye to his lofty standards and embarked on a film signing spree. As far as Krrish 2 is concerned, the script is far from ready and the Roshans plan to hit the floors only in the second half of 2008.
Kishore Lulla from Eros International says, “I’m delighted that Hrithik Roshan is playing the lead role in the film.â€
