Mysterious for sure. And I can’t quite understand the period costume here. But it is intriguing.
Abhishek is definitely playing a high stakes game with this one. Krrish it definitely ain’t!
Drona of course in the Mahabharata teaches the Pandavas the warrior arts. His most famous pupil is of course Arjun. I have always been interested as to why this film is called Drona.
More recently the Drona/Eklavya episode came up in Eklavya..
wonder if this movie takes place in different time periods..

well … this is underwhelming to say the least … was expecting better … looks like abhishek wants to answer Krrish in an akbar getup … the sword looks so fake.
i wonder whats the target audience for this one is … a fantasy set in compemtorary world can still attract some if stylishly done … this isnt that.
the pics are dissappointing … but lets wait for the promo which might pleasantly surprise us.
n as i said in a different thread … abhi’s fan base is mainly of those who like the guru/sarkar/yuva kind of deal … this pics assures my notion that this kind of film wont be the rite one to attract them (they will be rather awaiting sarkar raj).
the hiphop image that abhi was partly successful in creating in 05 has eroded long away.

The middle pic is good IMO. The other too not really showing much. I don’t know what to make of Drona, sounds like a huge risk which could be detrimental or a massive success story.

and in terms of mythalogy satyam remember drona was one of the greatest warrior to emerge
aside there is even bigger surprise if true conan stevens in a negetive role
