Hare Ram Hare Ram Hare Krishna Hare Ram…Hare Ram Hare Ram Hare Krishna Hare Ram…damn that song is catchy…and Aksahy’s crazy hand moves that go along with the beats and tunes of that song is off the hook…Well I keep searching for a good movie…this year has dissapointed me…there were many moves this year that fell blow my expectations…I was kind of dissapointed with Gandhi My Father, very dissapointed with Salaam-e-ishq and shocked to see how bad Jhoom Barabar Jhoom turned out. For me Guru wasn’t brilliant, Partner was only good for the big screen once and Apne was just ok but damn it was corny and cheesy…the less said about Aap Ka Surroor the better. Well finally I have came across a entertaining film that I can probably watch many times…its BHOOL BHULAIYA to the rescure. Honestly, I thought Bhool Bhulaiya would be a decent film but the second half of the movie gives this decent entertainer a MIND or BRAIN…it actually has a plot and concept and it makes you think…its backed up with good psychological theories/concepts. It always takes Priya some time to build up the story…so the first 30 minutes of the film starts of slow but after that the story picks up and you get glued to your seats. I’m not saying the movie is perfect but its entertaining. Akshay who I absolutely don’t like impresses me by not going overboard. He was handled very well and even excelled in the EMO scenes…thats a first for him hahahahaha. On the other hand, Shiney who I think is amazing performer overracts his part. I know Priya loves noise and loudness…in most of his films actors are always shouting at each other…but Shiney is shouting for no reason hahahaha…it just looks odd…I have a feeling he just wanted to out-perform Akshay by shouting louder and increasing his voice in most scenes. Akshay stole every scene from him…WHAT A SURPRISE hahahaha. But both of them are nothing cause Vidya Balan…my bebe…gives an award worthy performance in this film. She dominates the second half…as Mhanjula (miss bhootni) and as her normal character Avni. Vidya scares you shitless as The Bhootni maaaaaaaaaan….god damnnnnnnnnnnnnn. I remember Urmila in Bhoot…wow…a performance that didn’t fetch her the filmfare award for best actress…well Vidya’s performance is along those lines…I got my fingers crossed for my bebe. Amisha didn’t overract or breath and cry like she was about to die or something in this film…thankfully. Rajpal Yadav doesn’t have much to do…he’s decent in his scenes. Paresh Rawal starts the film off and then fades away…he’s alright…I thought he was sidelend bigtime…for a Priya film thats surprising. Well Priya suprises us in many ways. Im surpired that he did something beyond just a comedy…this film has the comedy, mystery, horror genres all in one. Im also surprised that Priya didn’t use his over the top comedy chasing scene towards the end of the film…cause HE ALWAYS DOES THAT HAHAHAHA. Priya can give you just an ordinary film (Garam Masala), sometimes he can give you a crappy film (Kabhi Na Kabhi), sometimes he can give you a masterpiece (Virasat), and sometimes he can give you an real entertainer (Bhool Bhulaiya). Make sure to watch it.
