Doston, peechle hafte hindi cinema ki teen anmol ratan jaisi movies dekhne ka mauka mila. Waise pehle bhi kai baar in movies ko dekh chooka hoon, par jitni baar dekhta hoon, kuchh naya sikhta hoo, kuchh naya paata hoon , aur in filmo ke prati mera aadar aur badh jaata hai.

1.Dosti (1964)

Do doston ki kahaani. Ek andha hai aur ek handicapped (played by Sushil and Sudhir Kumar). Zindagi jeene ke sangarsh me apni jarooraton ke peeche chalte huye ek doosre se milte hai. Aur phir shoroo hoti hai ek doosre ke prati chahat aur qurbani ki kahani. Jarrorato ke liye ekththa huye dost kaise apne bare me sochna chhodke apne dost ki unnati ke baare me sochne lagte hai- yehi hai Dosti ki kahanni. Haan, film me 60s ki stamped melodrama acting maujood hai par shaayad woh hi film ki ek strength hai. Kai cheejein aaj ke daur ke liye justified nahin hai par us samay ke hisaab se dekha jaaye to perfect hai. Jo baat har film ka dil hai woh is me poori tarah maujood hai- superb story aur emotions.

Dosti ko jis wajah se aaj bhi yaad kiya jaata hai uski ek aur jabadast wajah hai- uska sangeet- Laxmikant Pyarelal- Hindi gaano ke anmol ratan jaise – “Chahoonga main tujhe shaam saware… Jaanewalon jaraa , mudke dekho mujhe…, Raahi manva dukh ki chinta kyon sataati hai, dukh to apona saathi hai … and meri dosti tera pyar… sabhi solo gaano ko Mohd, rafi ki behtareen awaaz aur Majrooh ke bol ne amar kar diya hai.

Dosti film me jo ganga ki tarah pavtira dosti dikhayee gayi hai who aaj ki filmo me dekhi nahin jaa rahi hai (waise Gangaa ki kahaan pavitra rahi hai?) Isi liye audience filmo ke saath jood nahin paati hai. Badalte waqt ke saath aadmi badalta hai isi liye shaayad us samay ki dosti ki definition “Dosti” film ki tarah thi aur aaj ki dosti Golmaal (2006), Garam Masala(2005) ke jaisi hai jahaan ek dost apne dost ko mushibat me dekhkar maze leta hai.

Rajshri Rpdoductions dwara produced ki gayi aur Satyen Bose dwara nirdeshit ki gayi Dosti jisne na dekhi ho use meri binnati hai ki ek baar to zaroor dekh le.

2.Namak Haram (1973) –

Hrishida, AB, Rajesh Khanna, R D Burman, Anand Bakshi sab saath me ho to Namak Haram ke siva aur kya ban sakta hai. 1970s ke unbalanced society ke background me do dosto ki kahaani darshati huyi is film ke baare me jitna likho utna kam hai. Business aur Ethics ke beech me fansi huyi dosti aur ek dost ki qurbaani kaise zindagi ke usool badal sakti hai uski yeh ek alag dastaan hai jise Hrishida ke adbhoot nirdeshan, Rajesh Khanna, AB , Raza Murad aur Omshiv puri ke dhansoo performances ne amar banaa diya hai. Hrishida ki aur filmo ki tarah yeh bhi jyaada melodramatic nahin hai. Stylish camera angles nahin hai par jaise aage kahaan gayaa hai- stong story aur emotions haazir hai. Omshiv puri jab AB ko business ke usool bataate hai, Rajesh Khanna jab kehte hai “main namak haraam nahin hoon, maine uske saathe gaddari nahin ki hai jisne namak banaaya hai”, Raza Murad ke saare cenes aur basti mein AB ka gussa- gem of the scenes. Dosti ki tarah iska bhi strong point hai- R D Burman ka sangeet, Kishoreda ki awaaz aur Anand Bakshi ke bol – “main Shaayar badnaam… Nadiyaan se dariya, dariya se saagar…Diye jalte hai… fantastic combination.

Btw, log kehta hai ki Rajesh khanna ko AB ne overshadowed kar diya tha.. par mujhe to aisa kuchh laga nahi. Sabhi characters aur performances ekdam balanced hai. Even 70s ki aur filmo ki tarah romantic angle ko bhi jyaada mahatva nahin diya gaya hai. – Truly a master piece my master director.

3.Tamanna (1996)-

Jab Mahesh bhatt ek saath chaar-paanch filme kar rahe the tab yeh film aayi thi. Tiku namak ek hijhde ki sachchi kahaani par aadharit is film me Tiku ka role Paresh Rawal ne nibhaaya hai. Unki career ka “Sardar” ke baad yeh sabse achcha performance hai. Pooja Bhatt, Kamal Chopra, Sharad Kapoor ne bhi achch saath diya hai. Par Salimbhai ke side role me Manoj Bajpai ne to kamaal kar diya hai. Career ke shoorooaat ki is film me hi unhone apne talent ka parichay de diya tha. Agli do filmo ki tarah Tamanna bhi strong story se saji huyi hai jise majboot nirdeshan aur performances ne jyaada khoobsurat banaa diya hai. Tamanna ko jabh tiku ke namard hone ki sachchai maloom paditi hai aur who kehti hai ”mujhe ginna aati hai ki is aadmi ne mujhe kabhi chooa bhi hoga, jise me apna baap samaj rahi thi who ek hijhda hai” aur Salimbahi usko laafa marte hai… what emotions, dialogues, performances and overall what a scene!. Is film me bhi Ek do insaan (paresh rawal and Manoj bajpei) ki bina matalab ki dosti ko dikhaya gaya hai. Haan music thikthaak hai, par ek gaana achcha hai..”ghar se masjid bahot door hai… chalo kisi rote huye bachche ko hasaaya jaaye”..
